Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only in the case of rape, incest, and endangerment to the mother.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Strongly Agree

Socialism provides a robust foundation for a stable economy.

Strongly Disagree

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Through a solid, supportive education system and a strong, business-friendly environment. As an educator, I believe that job opportunities, access to better health care, and a way out of poverty starts with access to education. In Virginia, it is a guaranteed right to a quality education. Virginia needs to be more friendly to upstarts and small businesses, who want to hire the people of the district. I believe that jobs should come with a respectable wage, but making the minimum is not where the fight should stop and should not be the goal. Community College and Retraining programs should also be more accessible - jobs should not just be for those with a 4-year degree.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Only in an emergency should the Government provide a targeted stimulus to get things going again.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I believe that job opportunities, access to better health care, and a way out of poverty starts with access to education.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

I support sanctuary cities.

iVoterGuide Notes:
  • Candidate sent an email on May 13 stating that he does not support sanctuary cities and asked me correct his answer.

Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Any teaching to children on sex education in public schools must include all contraceptive methods, and should not show preference to abstinence.

People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."

Free speech is under attack on public university and college campuses.

Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.

Strongly Agree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The thirst for power and overreach and majority oppression is why the Founders set up a system of checks and balances.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Catholic- I believe in God the Almighty, Creator in Heaven and Earth. I believe he sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. I believe that like Jesus Christ demonstrated, we should treat each others like we would treat ourselves.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I believe that anyone can pull themselves up by their bootstraps with hard work and sweat. I believe in a strong education system, and a system designed to help all children get ahead. I believe in the second amendment. I believe in a strong Defense, and that does make peace in this world. I believe in the Party of Lincoln and Reagan.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I became a Preschool Teacher in rural Orange County, where I saw first hand the struggles of affording Child Care from young parents who were just getting by. In Petersburg, I advocated for his kids and worked with the School Board to fix up a run down playground and helped make the playground safer for students- in an area plagued with crime. I teach in Northern Virginia now, where students face the challenges of Distance Learning. While on the surface there seems to be more access to a better way of life, I see up close the wealth gap that exists-especially in the 50th District. I knew that I had to go beyond the classroom to do more for his former and current students. I know how to help our kids and get our schools open and create a better Commonwealth for all.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

n October of 2019, I joined Center-Right Blog “Bearing Drift”, in the hopes of bringing a new Millennial driven perspective. With the site, he started the podcast “Grand New Podcast”, in hopes of not only interviewing Virginia’s movers and shakers, but also to have conversations between figures of both parties and those with different views. It has been his way of trying to heal the ever growing partisan divide in our state.
