Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I am against abortion, but if it comes down to the mother, or the baby, I think the mother should get first choice. She probably has a family or other children that depend on her. Two doctors should confirm that more than likely she would perish from continuing the pregnancy.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

The Social Security Act was signed into law by President Roosevelt on August 14, 1935 with the first taxes collected in 1937. It is a government run social welform program that over the years has added more and more benefits. With more people living longer it puts a strain on the system. We need to cut back on the bleed by slowly eliminating some of the benefits and get back to what it was originally meant to do, provide retired workers age 65 or older a means to care for themselves.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We have to be honest here. With our system of money (Federal Reserve), the 'balancing the budget' horse left the stable some time ago. The balance of debt to GDP has become unsustainable. The president and congress are passing stimulus bills that are pushing us off the fiscal cliff. 2.1 million federal employees, about 4 million if you include the military. That is a large payroll. Reducing the budget from NSA and some of the other alphabet soup agencies would be a start.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

I cant think of any. Not by taxpayers.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It doesn't say separation 'from' which too many people think now. The founders did not want an official church like in England. That is where that portion of the first Amendment came from. Church services were actually held in the White House in the beginning.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

let me start by stating the FDA needs to be more flexible and work with homeopathic remedies that have a proven track record with safety and performance. Natural medicine is typically less expensive with fewer side effects. Curing the problem instead of treating symptoms is the goal of any good health plan. Telehealth has made inroads into Wyoming that has benefited our very rural state and I would continue to support that. I am not in support of a government run, single payer healthcare program. When the government controls the healthcare system, they can decide who gets it. That concerns me.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Unfortunately our children and grandchildren in many schools are being taught Islam, and in some cases, enforcing recital of Islamic prayers. I am not against teachers talking about the different religions in the world, just don't show favoritism. Sharia Law should have no place within our borders as it is counter to our laws and beliefs. I think our current president understands the threat and is working to control it. The much bigger threat is the Chinese military.

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

If you are not a terrorist than get in line and take a number.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in Jesus Christ as the one true son of God, begotten from a woman and made man, who came down to earth to save us from our sin and was crucified, died, and was put in a tomb. The third day he rose. He has declared victory over sin. I believe in one baptism for the remission of sins. My values include being honest, working hard, Being helpful to others. I try to be fun and enjoyable to be around. Never stop learning.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

'I would have picked 'very conservative', but I don't like to paint myself into a corner. I have been the Vise Chairman and now I am the Chairman of the Constitution Party of Wyoming so I suppose that would make me fairly conservative.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am running to give voters a choice. Less government intrusion in your life. I pledge to uphold the Constitution. Any bill that passes by my desk will have to pass the Constitution sniff test. I am a member of the Tenth Amendment Center. We need to return to our states the power that they were meant to have.

iVoterGuide Note:  After the survey deadline, the candidate asked iVoterGuide to add this information: "I have worked at the same company for 43 years. I am an Instrument tech in the power house. I have no military experience."

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

If you are a felon convicted of a violent crime - no gun. I do not believe in gun registration.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

No Answer

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1- Get out of the United Nations 2- The Patriot Act violates the Fourth Amendment so that needs to go. 3- The NDAA has an indefinite detention aspect built into it that is troublesome and unconstitutional. It needs written out of the act.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Not in itself. The cry of racial injustice is an excuse by paid agent provocateur's to try to tear this country apart. While there is some instances of racism to be sure, I don't believe it is systemic.
