Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None. Under no circumstance should abortion be allowed to be funded by tax payer dollars as it infringes on religious and individual protected liberties.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

How the money is apportioned is a vital part of the solution. Investigations into where the money has gone is also equally as vital. We have seen COLA given only to see any small gain, pushed back by increases in medicine cost or Medicare premiums. The system is failing our most vulnerable. It may be that younger generations help contribute to their own benefit, should social security be continued. Long range, this and a combination of other investment opportunities outside of goverment programs should be allowed for retirement, with less penalties for those needing to retire early. Many widows and widowers have been hard struck, especially those with loss related to the military or law enforcement and first-responder community - when loss is unexpected, pro-rating benefits paid in could be the barrier that keeps these at risk communities out of homelessness. I am open to ideas on Social Security Benefits.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Big deals and pork spending need to be eradicated. My belief is that the sooner we get congress to move forward on individual funding bills without large special deals, the better. A great example of this was the Stimulus spending bill to help Americans during the COVID-19 shut down. The bill would have moved through quicker at the benefit of the people had other large ticket items been sent through separately. When clear spending bills are offered, if needed they will be passed.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

Even in insolvency or full and permanent disability, provisions should be made and opportunities given for individuals to pay off their loans utilizing very low payments. If a loan is incurred, payment should be made to fulfill the obligations of the recipient. More emphasis should be put on trade schools as they encourage immediate mastering of skills for the workforce.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The State shall not infringe on religious liberties.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

There is a distinction needed between health coverage and health care. We need accessible and affordable care. Coverage should be attainable by everyone who wants it, not just those in employment pools. Competition should be encouraged and free market solutions embraced. Our President has worked hard to do some reforms, it is high time Congress take action to free up the health care system, set aside big lobby and big pharmaceutical and put coverage and care back in the hands of the patient and the doctors.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Enforce the United States Constitution

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Numbers USA has me listed as a "True Reformer." Immigration should be reduced on all levels and streamlined. Our background checks and security checks should be reviewed and inadequacies addressed. My family members came to America--the right way, legally immigrating. We are a law abiding nation. H-1B and H-2B visas should be given to supplement our workforce when no other citizen in America can do the job - only as necessary, not as it has been used in the past, as a pathway to permanent residency and citizenship. Refugee statuses need reviewed and to ensure those seeking refuge are legitimate. My family escaped the holocaust, not all made it. These status are important and must not be abused while looking to ensure strong Human rights' response in at risk nations are recognized, while keeping America secure.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Evangelical Christian - Messianic Jew

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I stand strongly on the Second Amendment: "Shall not be infringed." Law abiding citizens don't break laws, criminals do. We have plenty of laws on the books which can be enforced to ensure public safety. We should ensure all violent criminals who utilize firearms are made to serve their complete sentences.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Term limits Push for more tax reform Campaign finance reform Health Reform Immigration Reform

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The media and politicians have been turning the people against on another for years. While I agree there are certain groups pushing specific agendas and we have recently seen growth in domestic security issues across the country by certain groups, the truth remains -- the people of the United States largely embrace the Civil Rights movement as making large gains and establishing equality, which is now secured by both federal and state laws. Any racism in communities needs to be dealt with at that level, using local laws and ordinances to keep communities safe. I would like to note, racism in the workplace is against the law and all citizens are protected from discrimination based on race, among other protections.
