Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I am unapologetically 100% pro-life. We need to value and protect the most needy and vulnerable among us, starting with children in their mothers' wombs.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Social Security is already guaranteed for future generations. It is a poor system, a failed system, but not the doomsday situation that we are encouraged to fear. If invested wisely and conservatively, every American can have a social security account which could serve their needs without fear or stress. There are too many people in the political class fighting this progress because giving individuals choice and power over their own financial decisions removes the power and prominence of elites in government.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

There is unfortunately not a lot of room to immediate cuts to our budget. In fact, most "budget cuts" referred to in the media are not cuts at all. They are cuts to planned budget increases. We must start by ending automatic annual budget increases across the board, ending the practice of baseline budgeting. I intend to be a leader in returning to a responsible Congress who actually passes a budget every year, on-time, as we should be doing.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

Student loans are a contract between an individual and a lending institution. Student loans are not a taxpayer responsibility.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of Church and State is a phrase loved by our media and by the leftist in Washington. It is not a constitutional principle and was coined by a man who was not at the Constitutional Convention. We all have a freedom to worship who we wish, or not at all. There is nothing in our constitution which prevents us from leaning on our faith to guide the moral and political direction of our nation.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Free Enterprise, competition and access to information is the way to reign in healthcare costs, not lobbyists, fancy dinners and politicians' thirst for power. I believe that the only thing worse than an insurance company making our medical decisions is a government beaurocrat making our medical decisions.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

The United States should lead the world in showing a true value and respect for life, liberty and private property. The threat of Islamic terrorism will be defeated by protecting our borders, respecting and honoring our uniformed servicemen and women, and setting an example as a nation that fights against militant religious extremism in any form.

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

All aliens with a desire to immigrate should be welcomed and encouraged to apply. After careful screening and application review, we as a nation reserve the right to accept the best and the brightest, regardless of race, religion, or finances.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a proud father and Texan who lives the Judeo-Christian values that our great nation was founded upon. As a practicing member of our proud Jewish community, I have a true respect for law and justice while practicing the grace and compassion that is the keystone of my faith.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am not a groomed and polished “empty suit” politician like we have now. My life goal is not to run for office and horde every microphone and camera I can find. Joaquin Castro has done ZERO for this district EXCEPT to horde every microphone and camera he could find. What you see is what you get with me. I am not here to be a career politician. I am here to serve my community. This community.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Second Amendment specifically restricts the government from infringing on the right to bear arms. As a candidate for public office, I am applying for a job where I am directed, specifically by our Constitution, to not infringe.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. We need a congressman who defends OUR constitutional rights and OUR Texas values with no excuses or exceptions. 2. We need a congressman who demands fiscal responsibility by cutting taxas and ending wasteful spending. 3. We need a congressman who defends OUR borders and assures 100% funding for our Military, First Responders, and Law Enforcement personnel. I will be that congressman.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Racism is wrong, evil, and ingrained from youth in many people but it is not a major threat to domestic security. If we want to improve race-relations, we should praise those who live in a color-blind world. We should embrace cultures and backgrounds, and we need to stop this race-baiting culture that tries to throw accusations at any and every person with an opposing view.
