Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only if the woman's life is at risk, but this is a tough decision for any woman to make a choice to save her life or to save her baby's life.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I can not guarantee anything, but I can promise that I will seriously evaluate the whole system to identify the problems and propose real solutions. What we know for sure is government spending is out of control and is part of the problem. We need to rein in the out of control spending in numerous areas, but I would not cutting senior benefits. I would support cutting senior benefits if the government stops the Social Security benefits program and returns all money collected from the program back to the seniors and people who paid into the system.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I will fight to stop government subsidies. I will fight to stop government bailouts and require banks who received bailouts to repay the money. I will fight to stop taxpayer money from going to foreign countries. I will fight to stop the spending on projects that give no direct benefit to the American people, like Plan Parenthood.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

1. If the person is working for a nonprofit or as a public servant that is not earning enough to pay the loans. 2. There may be special circumstances like a health condition that would prevent the individual from paying the loans.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means the government has no authority to tell you or I what faith to practice and how to practice. It means that the government can not put restrictions on or discriminate against those who practice religion.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I am working on a healthcare plan based on the free market idea. This plan would force the healthcare and insurance industry to compete for the consumer's business either as a patient or insuree. Much like the rest of the economy, if a business wants to grow and profit, then the Hospital or a doctor's office will need to be competitive with pricing and service.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

I would be lying if I said I have the answer to this problem. We currently combat this threat with the force of our military, building a network of partnerships with other nations, and educating people. I believe at the monument, all we can do to combat radical Islamic terrorism is with use of military force, educate people of the truth about radical Islamic terrorism, and continue to require other nations to take action against and to speak out against radical Islamic terrorism and how it is a threat to everyone no matter who you are or where you come from.

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Whoever enters the United States legally should be allowed in. However, anyone illegally entering our country should be sent back immediately, instead of holding the individuals for 60, 90, or more days. We have immigration laws, and these should be followed, not ignored. The only time an exception should be made is for asylum from persecution.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God, God's word, his son Jesus, and the holy spirit. I am Christian, and when asked what religion I practice? My response is I do not practice religion. I practice faith because it takes faith to believe in God, even though we can not see him. It takes faith to believe that God's son Jesus died for all of us that we may have eternal life. I believe God allowed the United States to form to protect our natural rights from tyranny.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We do not need any more gun laws. We need to crack down on guns illegally sold on the street and the black market. The current gun laws do not prevent criminals from buying guns off the street or black market. The laws only punish the citizens who follow them.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1.Healthcare, 2.Immigration & Border Security, 3. Term Limits for congress

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, but to say racism does not live today would be false. Racism is not at the levels 60 to 100 years prior, but it is still around in every culture. Is racism a threat to domestic security? Well, anything can be a threat to our security if it gets out of control, but I don't believe that we are to a level that would be cause for concern. However, we should always be prepared for the unknown.
