Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
As a Catholic man, I do not believe in abortion. My native American grandmother was impregnated at age 12 by a 20 year European (German) immigrant but she did not have an abortion and she lived to have 11 more children and over 50 grandchildren and more than 80 great grandchildren. I consider that a blessing in my family and take pride in my native American roots and I also feel a great degree of shame of the origins of my European ancestors. Therefore, I do not believe in abortion under any circumstance. Nonetheless, I am not GOD to decide for all women, however when the U.S. Constitution allows an abortion for consideration, it should involve professional counseling, the father of the child, and if the woman considering an abortion is under 18, both of her parents and the father of the child, should be involved in making a decision when the life of the mother is at risk.
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
The only way to save the Social Security benefits is by replacing the entire Louisiana Congressional delegation. The Republican delegation members are enabling President Trump to destroy the Judicial system, the U.S. Postal Service is now being destroyed and the Social Security Program is next. The incumbent senator that I would be honored to replace is now only a backdrop to the president because he stays silent while hundreds of thousands of Americans are dying at a rate of 1,500 a day now and without social security benefits the elderly generations will die and disappear.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Reduce Defense by 20%. As a retired Air Force Veteran, I know a thing or two about government spending. In 1992-93, as Chief of Services, lead an organization at Thule Air Base, Space Early Warning Systems, with a $20 Million annual operating budget and over $20 billion in real property and satellite systems. Here, we had fall out money, several million dollars to spend for the morale of the troops. For the annual budget the was an unwritten rule to ask for 20-40% more than what you need.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
To begin with, education should be free for all Americans and existing student loans should be forgiven. We need to increase revenue by balancing out 50/50 what Americans contribute each year to match what corporations actually contribute which now lies at 65% of individual tax contributions versus 15% corporate contributions which is a tremendous unfair gap. The CARES ACT, covid-19 stimulus package gave $2 Trillion Dollars where 85% went to large corporations and 15% to individuals. NOT FAIR.
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means to me that government cannot impose any religion on any American Citizen and the government cannot deprive any American from practicing their religious beliefs regardless of what they may be. I also believe that church and/or religion should also be kept out of politics, particularly from dirty politics.
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
1. Healthcare should be provided to ALL Americans regardless of their employment status and/or ability to pay for their own healthcare. 2. The Covid-19 pandemic has now changed the rules of the game and the reality is that over 100 million Americans do not have or cannot afford quality healthcare. As a disabled veteran with autoimmune disorders (leukemia, chronic rhinitis, environmental allergies, skin sensitivity to cleaning agents, and others) I know the importance of healthcare. Thank God, my family and I have affordable healthcare (Tricare) at about $1000/year per family, in addition to free VA healthcare for me. 3. I want all Americans to have similar Tricare healthcare access. Particularly, when their exposure to covid-19 is the result of negligence. 4. Both the Chinese and U.S. governments were negligent in their disclosure or response to covid-19. Therefore, both governments should pay for lifetime treatment & compensation damages for loss of life, wages or business.
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Stop trying to steal the Islamic State oil. The Iraq War was a total cover up, there we no weapons of mass destruction and all the Bush Administration wanted was to take over their oil. The Trump Administration only concern in Iraq is to use American soldiers to protect the oil fields so that big oil companies get their hands on that oil. If someone comes to your house and tries to steal your property, you may come out with a gun a shoot at them. If they kill your child while the thieves are attempting to rob your home, you may get so angry that you would think about getting revenge and go after the thieves and kill them all. The same scenario happens when the United States greedy politicians try to steal Islamic state oil and kill their children in the process. Then the angry Islamic State comes to America in revenge of their dead children. America does not need to steal the oil of the Islamic State--we can produce clean energy and create millions of jobs at the same time.
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
As an informed organic farmer, here in the United States at the beginning of 2020, there was a pre-existing major agricultural problem where the Ag GDP is 1% or $132.8 billion and going down with a total of 2 million farmers that depend on temporary migrant labor. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic has made it worst and the national food security concerns have increased tenfold. Therefore, dependence of food imports will increase as well as the price so it is in our own best interest to consider the following. a. Increase H-2A temporary farm labor levels by 50%. b. Eliminate H-2B temporary non-agricultural labor or services. Pay local labor $15/hour. c. H-2A should receive a social security number so that they can pay taxes and obtain a drivers license. d. H-2A permits should be for 24 months with the option of automatic extension if recommended by host farmer. At the end of 48 months they must return to their country of origin and re-apply by sponsor request.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in GOD and use Romans Chapter 12 and 1 Corinthians Chapter 13, every day to guide my life. 1. Romans Chapter 12. Helps me remember each day that I must learn to be open minded with the evolution of science and that I must strive to help others particularly the oppressed like children in cages who are separated from their parents and are left to die of covid-19 in cold or hot weather. It also helps me to stand up for the low income people who cannot fight for a living wage salary and or free healthcare for all. We now have 170,000 dead Americans who left more than 5 million grieving spouses, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, parents, cousins and all they get from the President of the United States and the incumbent senator is: "It is what it is." I cannot accept that and that is why I am running for US Senate. 2. 1 Corinthians Chapter 13. Reminds me that there is Faith, Hope and Love and the greatest of all is Love. I will serve this great nation with LO
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
Since 2004, I have been a non-violent protestor, I believe in justice but I do not believe in rioting and/or destruction of public property to get my voice heard. Instead I've used a better venue to protest so that more people can hear me without imposing on others. 1. In 2004, I ran for U.S. Congress to publicly protest against the war in Iraq and war profiteers. Many people laughed at me but time tells everything. The war in Iraq cost is $2 trillion dollars or $6,300 per each of your family members and 4,487 U.S. dead soldiers. 2. I also publicly protested against war profiteers since 2004. Now I am protesting against incumbent senator that allowed $8 billion of stimulus package for covid-19 to be used for war planes.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
Vinny's Plan of Action as U.S. Senator. 1. Preserve Life first. Provide covid-19 test with same day results and a vaccine for all. 2. Medicare for ALL Americans. 3. Re-invest 10% of Defense funding into Green New Deal Agriculture (Ag) Reform. a. Food Security and Shelter b. Increase current U.S. Ag GDP from 1% to 20% c. Create 25 million new jobs in the creation of 10 million smart farms. d. Create 10 million new wind, solar and geothermal jobs. e. Federal Recreational cannabis to pay for Medicare & Education. 4. America for ALL Tax Reform. a. Reduce income taxes for 99% b. Increase taxes for the top 1% c. Political contributors shall pay 50% tax on their contributions. 5. Individuals/business to be compensated for Covid-19's health, human and/or economic loss due to China and U.S. Governments' negligence.
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I support The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution gives Americans the right to bear arms. Their right to own firearms is essential to protect their own personal sense of freedom. However, I do not feel comfortable with an individual walking on the street or at Walmart wearing military clothing without name and without military insignias and carrying automatic rifles with 100 bullet magazines, I immediately go on survival mode looking for ways to contain him if he starts shooting people.
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
The Electoral College should be abolished.
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. Medicare for All Americans. a. Covid-19 test results turnaround of 2-4 hours nationwide. b. Covid-19 testing available to every American when needed or wanted. c. Order 2 billion covid-19 vaccines when Available to make sure that each and every American has access to one now and in the future. d. No one is denied medical treatment at emergency rooms. e. Financial compensation for covid-19 personal or business damages. 2. Restructure U.S. Tax Code for single filers (double for couples) a. 0% for 0 - 85K b. 20% for 86K - 165K c. 25% for 166K - 204K d. 30% for 205K or more, this includes ALL corporations. e. 50% for all political contributions. f. Corporate contribution same as individual donors of $2,800 g. 10% tax for all non-profit organizations. 3. Implement Green New Deal a. Increase Ag GDP from 1% - 20%. b. Reinvest 10% of annual defense budget into 4 million new farmers. c. Create 10 million clean energy new jobs.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes. Racism is HATE. According to Romans !2:9, "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." Unfortunately, Americans now live their lives by the rule of political hate lead by President Donald Trump and his GOP enablers in U.S. Congress. It seems that for them: "Hate must be sincere and outspoken in public. Love what is evil; cling to what is bad." Letting 1,500 Americans die each day of covid-19, without showing concern and saying "it is what it is" sounds evil to me. Letting people die on purpose as ethnic cleansing was evil, but letting 65% of 170,000 people or 110,000 dead Americans being white men, women and children, particularly senior citizens it is extremely evil to me. Only FAKE Christians wish that all democrats die of covid-19, what happens when they are related to you? In America, we must stop the political hate and start loving one another and helping one another before all of us die of covid-19.
