Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only in cases where the life of the mother is at risk. I am a firm believer that ALL life is precious.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Our seniors are owed every dollar promised to them by our government. We must protect their investment. At the same time, we need to encourage free market solutions for future generations.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

There are plenty of unconstitutional departments that could and should be shut down.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

In no way, shape, or form whatsoever. I do not believe that it is the responsibility of taxpayers to help pay off student loans.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Those words do not exist in any founding documents of our country. The idea of separation of church and state is one that means the federal government can't officially establish any one denomination or religion.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Government-run healthcare is not the answer. It only creates more regulations and hinders healthcare providers from treating patients efficiently. The most effective way to promote adequate, affordable, and accessible healthcare for all is to get the government out of the way and implement free-market principles that create competition, lower costs, and make healthcare more accessible for everyone. Examples include allowing the purchase of health insurance across state lines and expanding the HSA plans.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Our most effective and successful tool in eradicating the threat of radical Islamic terrorists is a strong military force. In order to keep terroristic threats at bay, the US must continue to have one of the world's strongest militaries.

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People who are seeking freedom, who will abide by our constitution, and who are working to immigrate legally. We must enforce our laws and STOP the flow illegal immigration.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a proud Christian and believer in Jesus Christ. As a representative, my most fundamental principle has always been to remain steadfast in my values and true to my word. Having served for nine full years in the Georgia Legislature, I have always let my faith and principles guide my votes and actions.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

As a five-term member of the Georgia State House, I have a proven track record of standing up and protecting the conservative values of State House District 18.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

As a Christian, a husband, a father, a farmer, a small businessman, and a State Representative, I believe in limiting government, protecting freedom, cutting spending and upholding our Constitution. For nearly a decade, I have faithfully stood up for our Georgia values in the State House and I am running on my record, not from it. During my time as a Representative, I stood firm in my belief that we never have to sacrifice our Georgia values to keep our state the number one place to do business and I was proud to support the “Heartbeat” Bill AND every piece of pro-2nd Amendment legislation. I have never voted for a tax increase and even supported legislation that cut the Georgia income tax. It’s no longer enough to send ‘conservatives’ to Washington, we need proven principled conservatives. I ask for your vote for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

There should be no restrictions on Americans' God-given Second Amendment rights.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Life, Second Amendment, Budgeting

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

There is no room in our country for racism. All Americans are guaranteed equal opportunity and equal protection under the law. It is foundational to our freedom.
