Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Anytime when a doctor is backed by science that the mother's life is in danger and the baby is no longer a viable life

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

In regards to the State of Georgia, I would look at the State Medicaid system and want a true 100% audit on spending and Federal Government reimbursements. This type of system gives the state an incentive to overbill and overstate usage which inherently creates a system of fraud. Medicaid billing is one of the best scams ever done and bills some services and medications 800 times higher than other programs, including the VA program and private paid healthcare providers.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Disagree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The most misunderstood phrase used today. This phrase comes from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to the Danbury Baptist that helped reassure them that the 1st Amendment was adequate in protecting the "minor" religions. Since the government can not establish a state-sponsored religion, it can not prohibit others from freely practicing their own religion. That is what the phrase means to me.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I do not support healthcare for all acts. That is not fiscally responsible for any state or government. What we should do is find creative ways to help the uninsured and the underinsured. We can do this in many ways, such as allowing those not covered by an employer to fall under a state plan that their state payroll taxes paid for and exempt them from any state refund. On the other hand, I am against taxing payroll. Healthcare is a free market, should the government be involved in regulating cost? My Conservative and Libertarian part of me says no. We can debate that the regulation of healthcare and keeping costs down while still providing at least the minimum essential medical services helps the masses actually pursue Life, Liberty, and Happiness.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Disagree

iVoterGuide Note:  After the panel evaluation and rating, candidate notified iVoterGuide that the intended answer to this survey question should have been ‘Strongly Agree'”.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The last I checked, the Statue of Liberty has this quote: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" If we are not going to keep following that creed, then we are no longer America. Yes, some immigrants coming from certain regions may need a more thorough background and interview, I believe we can all agree with that.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised Southern Baptist and my values are that faith is needed in our daily lives but the Government should not be involved in our religions or practicing thereof.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Somewhat Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Question 25 will be answered by most candidates to say what you want to hear and not what they will actually value. We have to view the above matters with an open mind and what is best for society as a whole and what does it actually means to have true freedom to pursue LIFE, LIBERTY, and HAPPINESS. Immigration- Immigration boosts economic growth, it can meet skill shortages, and can help create a more diverse society. on average, 35% of Immigrants that cross our border bot legally and illegally are very skilled. That is not advocating for open borders, I want the border closed and bring people here legally and allow them to have a better life without looking over their shoulders every day. Foreign policy involves so much that it can not be addressed in 1000 words I have here. I am a fiscal conservative, so much so that I believe a state Senator should not be paid, they should want to serve, that is when we would see true change. Less government, more responsible government

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Going to be honest, I hate this question. This question leads voters to believe or mentally train them that a lot of education and political experience are needed to perform well, it is not. True life experiences make a great leader, not a title. Being a Doctor or a Judge does not make them a better leader. Most citizens would probably agree that a Judge has lived their lives off the taxpayer. Most Doctors are wealthy and really have no idea how the lower and middle class actually lives. If they did, they would treat all patients regardless of insurance and not send past due bills to collection agencies harming citizens and leading a lot of citizens towards bankruptcy. I have made my financials public, I have pledged no corporate sponsors, I have challenged all other candidates to waive their Senator Salary. I want to serve the citizens, I am not here for a title.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have dedicated my life to serving my nation and my local community. My wife who is an elementary school teacher and I have been foster parents and we are active in giving to local charities. I am the only candidate to release current financials, the only candidate to pledge no corporate donations, the only candidate to state my office will be open for inspection at any time, including my banking account for the senate. My wife and I are low-income Americans. We know and see the struggles of the vast majority every day. We do not have the funding or the money other candidates have. It is estimated that it will take $150,000.00 to win a seat that pays $17,000.00 a year. I want to prove them wrong. If you want someone who will step into the seat and start standing up for citizens and against the corruption, then I am it. If I do not hold up my promises, I will resign. I will fulfill my promises and my duty to taxpayers.

Judicial Philosophy

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

If you are not a convicted felon then your rights to own, buy, and carry a gun should not be restricted. You should not be paying the state for permission to carry a gun. There are other restrictions to consider. Any offender of Domestic Violence that has been convicted through due process. Any child predator or sex offender who has been convicted through due process. I will not support any red flag laws. A citizen has a right to due process.

Other Important Issues

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Agree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

In no particular order. 1. Constitutional Carry- Push the current bill through 2. GA Tort Law reform- Remove protections from certain state workers who violate the laws of this state and commit a crime against another person. State employees should not be exempt from being held responsible when they violate laws the hide behind "in the duty to perform my job". 3. Closing all private for-profit prisons and probation agencies. Take the misplaced workers and offer them direct positions in our state prisons and vacant probation officer jobs. Offer them a year for year service credit up to 8 years.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes But we must view racism from all sides, not just a white versus everyone else issue. Racism comes in all colors towards all other colors. Domestic terrorism and racism seem to be going hand in hand over the last two decades. Domestic terror events such as the Boston bombing, El Paso Wal Mart Shooting, and the Dallas Police Officer shooting spree were all racist events. The above events show that racism and domestic terror events can be carried out by any race against another select race or group of people.
