Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

There is no reason for condoning an abortion.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

As a Navy Supply Officer on the USS Saratoga during Desert Storm, I was responsible for a Budget of $425 Million dollars for 22 Departments. In order to understand budget reductions a person would have to be privileged to the entire budget, its income and expenses for the previous year. I have not been briefed on the state budget through committee meetings to make a recommendation at this time.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The First Amendment allows a citizen to practice any religion they choose. It also prevents the Government from establishing a Central Government supported religion.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I believe the each working individual is responsible to plan and choose their respective health coverage. I also do not believe that non documented or illegal persons in this county should receive healthcare coverage provided by the United State Government. They should only receive healthcare if they pay for the coverage themselves or the government has them in a holding facility while being returned to their country of origination. I do believe the government should provide healthcare to adult disabled persons or persons under the supervision of a government agency. There should be some type of government income prorated healthcare coverage for any U.S. Citizen that is homeless, unemployed with no coverage or unable to pay for publicly offered program.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Individuals who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. are those through their education or occupation offer a benefit to the needs of the United States.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Christian and claim Baptist as my religion. I am a student of Precept Ministries for the last four years centered around inductive Bible Study. When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I have not held an office where public documentation would validate my claims as a Conservative except my association and leadership positions with the Madison County GOP, 9th Congressional District and GAGOP Officers that have all worked with me over the last 20 years supporting Conservative Republican Values.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

1. As a veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm and serving my county for 20 plus years, retiring as a Navy Supply Chief Warrant Officer CWO3 gives me the experience to determine what legislation our veterans, police officers & EMS need. 2. Serving a Rotary International Ga District 33 Governor has allowed me to understand the various life challenges and needs that the citizens of Georgia require. 3. Serving as the Chairman of the Savannah-Upper Ogeechee State Water Council allows me to understand the economic advantage that the Savannah Port will bring to Georgia. 4. Serving as the Chairman of the Madison County Industrial Building, Water & Sewer Authority for 11 of my 16 years on the Board allows me to understand Georgia's infrastructure and water needs.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

I have not been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I believe racism has been in the United States since its conception. As long as our legislatures support, understand and execute what is written in our Constitution, racism will not be a domestic security threat. Home grown terrorist is a domestic security threat.
