Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape, Incest and the Life of the Mother

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I do not want to “guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations” in the form we have today. First, SS was sold to the American public as forming “Individual Retirement Funds” in individual accounts that would be safely managed and invested by your friendly federal government and grow until the time of retirement. They lied. The federal government and the BureauRats that run it and politicians who are elected to run it lied to us. Instead, they promptly poured that money into the General Fund and began spending it like drunken sailors. They even scoff at us by calling the process “your Social Security ACCOUNT.” Now, it’s a Government Ponzi Scheme where the New Payers into SS are paying for the Past Payers retirement. I would keep all the US obligations and promises about SS that were made to persons who will be retiring soon (“soon” to be determined) and create legislation requiring the feds to put the SS Taxes in Actual Individual Retirement Accounts and not the Gen Fund

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Please see my Website as I am the only Candidate who speaks and writes with specificity on this subject: My “Abolishment” begins with the Departments of Education, Energy and Agriculture. All federal departments must demonstrate why they should exist. All federal legislation shall be subject to Sunset Laws. After “The Abolishment”, surviving departments except Defense and Homeland security shall cut 5% First year and 1% each year thereafter for 10 years, actual budget cuts & not rate of increase

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

2/3None. Doing so will only push up the cost of college higher as the government takes that expense on, which is the major cause now of increasing college costs because government subsidies inflate the real cost of education above real value. Colleges and Universities should be encouraged to cut the cost of education and not expect the taxpayers to bail them out.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Nothing. It is not in the First Amendment. This term - and the deliberate confusion that The Left has used it for to make a false statement about the First Amendment flows from a personal letter from Thomas Jefferson (who was either an agnostic, an atheist, or a humanist - but certainly not religious) to a friend of his that the First Amendment provides for a “wall between church and state”. It does no such thing. The First Amendment clearly states that there shall be no “establishment of religion”, meaning that the government is not allowed to establish any official state religion to the detriment of any other religion, because in Europe and in England rulers decreed what the official state religion would be and one had to belong to it or they would not have rights, privileges and immunities at law. It means “No Official Government Religion.” Note that the rest of the Religion Clause reads that the government shall “not prevent the Free Exercise” of religion.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would allow health care insurance companies to write policies across State lines to compete with other similar insurance companies to increase competition. I would keep some aspects of The Affordable Health Care Act (which has had the Mandate removed) in order to cover US citizens with catastrophic health care problems who are uninsured or underinsured.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

It is impossible for one country - even our Nation - to single handedly eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism (RIT). We can, however, be proactive in opposing it with other countries, beginning with Saudi Arabia, and demand that they help in this regard. Demand And Take Action to prompt the affected countries in the areas of RIT to take appropriate action as necessary to help eradicate the threat of RIT. Specifically: 1. Have the best and most lethal military in the world. 2. Monitor (spy on) those areas that are infected with radical Islamic terrorism. 3. Support democratization in those area that are infected with RIT, and provide arms and material - but not Intervention unless the US is attacked from an area of RIT. 4. Declare it to be the policy of the USA to respond to attacks against us with overwhelming and deadly force by strategic bombing and cruise missiles that target the area where the attacks originated, whether or not from radical Islamic terrorists

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Only skilled labor and labor actually needed (“Merit Immigration”) in the US should be allowed to immigrate here, like Australia for instance. We need to change the immigration laws about “Asylum” and allow only a Quota of such applications to be allowed to be adjudicated. We should not allow foreigners to control the process like we do now. If a migrant brings a child into the US, that should be consider an Aggravated Immigration Offense that produces only additional punishment and not special favors as is our various laws about everything else that deals with endangering children or using children to commit a violation of the law; again, we should control the process and not allow the migrant to control and manipulate US laws. “Birthright” citizenship as contained in the 14th Amendment should be abolished - Citizenship should be determined by the nationality of the Mother.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I do not belong to any organized religion. I’m Catholic. I believe in God, the Father Almighty - creator of Heaven and earth - and in Jesus Christ his only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day he arose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Let it be so. I believe that all proper values can be found in the Holy Bible as the depository of God’s inerrant word.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

My professional career and my political history since High School validates my Very Conservative views. I was the original organizer of a Young Republican group at my High School during 1964 - 1966 and please recall that was a time that it was practically unlawful to be a Republican in Texas supporting “Au H2O” for POTUS. Since that time, I have always publicly supported conservative candidates for legislative offices. I publicly devised and promoted a “Concealed Arms for Teachers” (CAT) Program that would provided guidelines for school systems to allow screened and trained teachers, staff and maintenance workers to carry a concealed handgun at schools and universities; I testified before a Joint Committee of Homeland Security and Education of the Texas House about my CAT Program and my name is listed among those testifying. I do not know what else is “publicly available”.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have the most detailed “Policy Positions” of any Candidate for Texas Congressional District 22. I know what needs to be done to put the Federal Beast back into its Constitutional Cage. My reforms of our present system of government is absolutely necessary for our Republic to survive the secular humanists and the Left who would socialize our Country and bring us into the ruin of other countries who went down that road. I support President Trumps’ Initiatives in most of what he is doing about our economy to return capital and manufacturing back Onshore. But I will fight him and even our GOP leadership (I can be very persuasive and I’m truly on a Mission) to return to responsible spending - a lot less of it with a substantially smaller federal government - through a Balanced Budget Amendment with a Line Item Veto for POTUS. Plus so much more - like requiring a 2/3rd vote of the House to Impeach, just as it takes a 2/3rd Senate Vote for Removal.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. A lessening of restrictions for law abiding citizens to carry firearms is what is needed to protect public safety. Current restrictions against law abiding citizens bearing arms should be reviewed with an eye to eliminate most of them. We in Texas have already seen the value of that with the recent Church of Christ shooting were a firearm threat was eliminated in 6 seconds by a “Good Guy with a Gun”.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Balanced Budget Amendment with a Line Item Veto for POTUS; Repeal the 16th Amendment allowing for an Income Tax and replace it with an Itemized Sales Tax except on Food that must appear on every Bill, Contract and Invoice; Use every means at our disposal, including targeted tariffs and incentives, to return capital, manufacturing and jobs that have gone Offshore back Onshore to the US.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is a threat to domestic tranquility, not security - if I understand your meaning of “domestic security”. I’m not merely parsing words. To someone who is actually the subject of a racist act toward them most certainly would feel that their “domestic security” is being threatened. I am very proud of how our Nation and our people have dealt with issues of race for a very long time now. I truly believe that our Country is moving closer to the ideal of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. that we should judge each other by the content of our character and not the color of our skin. I have a Plan to restore tranquility to communities in need in Black and Latino neighborhoods by “Traditional Policing” by having Police Officers of Color patrolling on foot on “Beats” with discretion. People of Color don’t want drugs and gangs in their neighborhoods but the present system of “Flood the Zone with Cops in Cars” with orders to stop everyone for everything has destroyed good community relationships.
