Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

When the life of the mother is at risk.

Economy

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I will work to strengthen our economy from the bottom up to ensure benefits for future generations, and revisit labor laws to allow opportunity for our youth to learn responsibility, a good work ethic, and to contribute. I will work to eliminate benefits for those who enter the country illegally, and crack down on unnecessary spending and those abusing our system. I stand with the President's tax cuts for the middle class, and support the removal of overreaching job-killing and federal regulations that stifle our economy. So essentially, a three-pronged attack: 1) drive-down unnecessary spending, 2) improve GDP (Federal and state), and 3) allow for more opportunity among our youth.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

In order to balance the budget, I would take a business approach beginning with the obvious: remove fraudulent cases from social benefits, including removing those with no legal status. Reduce the unfunded mandates by allowing the churches to serve in their traditional roles in assisting the needy. Eliminate/consolidate positions/departments and assess a mandatory cut in their budgets, except defense and the military, but watch for abuses. Cut tax dollars to organizations that are anti-America

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

No circumstances. College is a privilege and not a right, and forcing taxpayers to fund someone else's education is not only detrimental to the economy, it is a moral wrong.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It is not the duty of government to run the church. The church is not controlled by the government. Our priests, ministers and rabbis are not elected officials. It is the duty of the church to instruct people based on their moral code, and the duty of the people to act and vote accordingly. As an elected official it is my duty to represent and s erve my constituents based upon my Oath of Office and our U.S. Constitution.

Healthcare

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

We need leaders that will support our President's efforts to lower healthcare costs by eliminating the regulations that stifle competition and more affordable options. We must improve the environment in which our medical professionals work every day – improving reimbursements, cutting interference from both the government and insurance companies and fighting to protect the "sacred" doctor-patient relationship. We can also allow for purchasing coverage across state lines. If the insurance companies resort to price fixing, I will be there (in Congress) to stop them. Furthermore, I will support the President’s aggressive efforts in battling the opioid crises.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

There are several actions the United States can take to eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism. First and foremost, protect our homeland and American lives. Our intelligence agencies must communicate, thoroughly investigate and take swift action to remove those who are a danger to Americans. Extremely vet individuals requesting access into our country. End the visa lottery that allows anyone to gain access without a "need" for America. Right here in our beloved State of Texas, on November 5, 2009, Nidal Hasan, shot and killed 13 young Americans and wounded 30. Previous complaints of Hasan's radicalization was known, yet ignored. In April 2013, during the Boston Marathon terrorist brothers killed 3 innocent Americans and wounded over 260, and 16 lost limbs. We must punish, cut economic ties to encourage other countries to not resource or in anyway assist terrorist countries. We must also take threats seriously, act accordingly, and stop appeasing our enemies.

Immigration

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We must all remember that the baseline is this: We are not required to allow anyone into our country. Americans are the most gracious and giving of all people and we allow more people to emigrate to our country than all countries.... combined! America is unique in we enjoy many liberties, freedoms & development. Therefore, we must understand the "value" of being an "American." Anyone we consider entering must assimilate and live under our U.S. Flag and all for which it stands. Immigration should be merit-based based upon our needs. I would also end chain migration and the lottery system. Further, all sanctuary city policies must be eliminated in order to ensure the safety of Americans.

Education

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Values

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe our God is almighty and creator of heaven and earth. His only son Jesus Christ was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, who died for our sins so that Christians would have eternal life. We have but a short life on earth to follow, spread and live God's word. At the end of life, we will be judged whether worthy to join our Lord in heaven. Our faith leads to our salvation through God's love and mercy. Through God anything is possible! He is the all-knowing and loving God.

Qualifications

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

It is shocking that if one has 'country pride', believes in God, and understands that our Supreme Law of the land is our U.S. Constitution, one is deemed "conservative." Regular/average Americans are now considered conservative. Placing Texas/American families first: https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/11/03/espinoza-time-official-national-day-remembrance-americans-killed-illegal-aliens/ My work, experience, dedication and strong support of Pres. Trump makes me a "Go-to-Person" https://www.univision.com/univision-news/politics/meet-the-15-immigration-hawks-defining-trumps-agenda I lived and worked in Washington, DC. I'm not a politician and I can't be bought: https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2017/03/07/remembrance-project-to-move-its-headquarters-to-washington-d-c-to-support-voice-program/

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am the only candidate with policy / legislative experience, and I am dedicated to placing America and American families first. When basic laws are ignored that allow our precious children to be violently killed by individuals who should not be here in the first place - our country is in a very bad place! How can we care for others, if we don't care for our own? I will leverage my network and relationships with the White House, House Freedom Caucus, Judicial Watch, and conservative leaders in Texas in order to get our country back to its core constitutional principles. I will also do my part to elect other conservatives with the same principles and who place God first.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

No restrictions on gun ownership are needed. This is our second amendment right and we should never be unprotected. I would not restrict our ability to protect ourselves. One only needs to look at history and how citizens have been grossly treated and murdered once they have been disarmed by their own government. We must treat those w/mental problems. We can point to mass shootings where the school, counselors, & even law enforcement failed the citizenry by failing to act

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Mitigate flooding. Make sure funds reach flooding victims! 2. Improve the lives of Texans by following the President’s conservative fiscal policy to improve the middle class standard of living and employment opportunity 3. Protect Texans and our nation's sovereignty by working to fund a border wall and enhanced border security Removing the federal government from our children's education also needs our immediate attention given that over 40% of 30 & younger deem socialism as 'favorable'

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is a threat to our common good, and has no place in the fabric of American society. All racism, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic attacks, attacks due to one's political beliefs, or simply wearing a red baseball cap must not be tolerated.
