Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

It is the responsibility of our society that all possible resources and education options have been reviewed by the mother and her family so that the life of the unborn is protected. Unfortunately, regardless if abortion is legal or illegal, it has been shown that abortions will still occur around the world. In fact, in countries where abortion is illegal, the abortion rate is actually double what it is in countries where it is legal. As a result, the best hope we have is to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies and abortions by educating our society and if a female does become pregnant, assure that she is given all possible options so that the mother and family know all the facts.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

The United States of America in order to keep our country and other countries safe, need to work with all nations to identify those who mean to cause harm to the United States and all countries around the world. By sharing intelligence and networking between our allies, we can identify those who mean to cause harm. In addition, we need to have a secure system that identifies and has thorough background checks on anyone who wishes to enter the United States.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Our founding fathers understood that as government expands and evolves, it impedes on the freedoms of it's citizens. So to prevent the accumulation of absolute powers and prevail over tyranny, our founders separated and distribute power by creating three separate branches of government. The legislative, executive and judicial branches each performing its own functions and duties.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a person who believes in Christianity, I believe in it's teachings of the love of God and of neighbor.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

As a conservative, my main focuses are on economic growth and stability. I believe that a strong economy is the solution to many of our society's needs. The best thing we can do for each American is provide employment opportunities and jobs so that all individuals will be allowed to obtain wealth, have the ability to own property, put food on the table and take care of themselves and their communities. In addition, to assure that we always have economic stability, we need to assure that we have immigration reform that allows new citizens to participate and contribute to our society. We need to continue to have strong international relationships with all countries in this world, while making sure that the United States is treated fairly.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

As we have seen, the Affordable Care Act has been a devastating policy that has resulted in skyrocketing costs and inadequate care. In addition, trying to adapt to socialized medical plans that are similar to Europe and Canada would be a mistake as these countries are burdened with extreme high income taxes and rationed health care for these much smaller populated countries. In order for the United States to maintain a high quality rate of care and keeps costs affordable for it's 328 million people, we need to take the following steps. 1.)Remove insurance mandates so that companies can compete and offer multiple policies to it's customers. 2.)Allow for Health Savings Accounts that do not expire to cover minor costs. 3.)Allow for Medical co-ops that has doctors and facilities who have negotiated low rates. 4.)Tort reform so that doctors no longer have expensive malpractice insurance and so that costly unnecessary tests and procedures are reduced.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The role of Government in boosting the economy is minimizing regulations and taxes so that businesses can expand and grow. With less regulations, companies will not be hindered by requirements such as multiple occupational licenses, numerous building permits, zoning requirement and business ordinances that only complicate our economy's ability to be productive. In addition, low taxes will free up capital to invest into new employees and materials which will produce more revenue and income that will be infused into our system.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Current tax codes need to be more generous to our low and middle income tax payers so that they have more disposable incomes to spend on goods and services which will allow them to achieve a higher quality of life while at the same time infusing more money into our economic system. This will in turn allow for more money to be used by corporations and small businesses to expand and hire more employees and offer higher wages.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

The best way to reduce unemployment is by having fewer government regulations and lower taxes. This creates more opportunity and less obstacles for companies to expand and hire more employees. In addition, we need to incorporate more job skills training programs such as internships, apprenticeships and corporate training to allow for people to obtain the necessary skillsets to fill jobs that have certain requirements for these positions.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Social Security is already at a point where it is near insolvency which means that more people are taking out than people putting into the system. In order to continue the success of this program, evaluations need to be made in regards to retirement age, cost of living approvals and means testing. With our population now living much longer than originally calculated for Social Security, it is necessary to look into all options to keep social security a viable option.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you: 720-526-0933

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

As a son of a family that immigrated to this great country in 1969, I know how lucky I am to be in this great nation. As a native who was born in Denver, this state has always been my home. Being a person who has experienced all the ups and downs that life has to offer, I understand what every single person is going through. My mom and dad, my six brothers and sisters all came to America with no money and didn't even speak English. However, despite the fact that we grew up in poverty, we were able to work and survive. Today, five of the seven children obtained college degrees and all seven children are living successful lives in this great nation. Having the background of constant struggles and also having great success, I understand the struggles and needs of every American. It is my hope to be a representative of the people who understands that I work for the people of my district and my country. Thank you and I appreciate your support!
