Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape, incest and to save or protect the life of the mother.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Keep on doing what we are doing.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Human experience over the prior centuries.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Christian, Episcopalean

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

In 1968, the federal government needed a background investigation on me. I later saw the FBI report. The agent doing the background investigation said I was well-known as a strong conservative. Probably no one else was validated as a strong conservative by an FBI check.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

We need to do a better job on healthcare but we cannot accept Obamacare. I will not abandon the poorest among us; I am a Christian.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government's role is limited, but we can always promote free enterprise values and make opportunity available to the most humble of our citizens. Unlike my opponents, I don't have a "poverty" story to tell. My maternal grandparents were prosperous, middle class and valued education. My grandmother helped found a church in Manchester, NH and that church is still flourishing. My grandparents came to America for a better life, and achieved the American Dream. One hundred two years after they arrived in Manchester, NH, we are still benefiting from the American Dream.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

My mind is open. But, to date, both Democrats and Republicans have been total failures in the area of fiscal responsibility.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

A strong economy.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I don't have an easy answer but I believe if you make a promise, you keep it.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

My life has been devoted to public service ( and making government accountable. I have a strong record of public integrity going back decades. Today my strength and independence of character is something the American people very much want. They are tired of "politics as usual" and "politicians as usual." New Hampshire needs a strong voice that can reach across our divisions an bring people together. I am a conservative but I will ensure that my door is open to all, and all feel welcome in my presence. I will not speak only with those who agree with me, and there will be no pay-to-play politics in my public service. I will bring people together, in New Hampshire and Washington,
