Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

If the life of the mother is at risk.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Mankind is self-seeking, and will naturally seek power and self-gain. Therefore, a balance of power in the three branches of government, brilliantly instituted by our Founding Fathers, helps to reign in the corrupt nature of mankind.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a sinner, separated from God. Christ came to this earth in human form, perfectly sinless, and died on the cross for the penalty of our sin. When I acknowledged I was a sinner and needed a Savior who could wash away my sins and remove the penalty for my sin, I was received by Christ as His child with the promise of eternal life. The Bible is God's inspired Word and is the road map for life.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I stand for the principles in God's Word, believing every life is sacred from conception to natural death, because we are made in the image of God. Our Constitution envisioned a government of the people, by the people and for the people. I support the Republican Party Platform and believe in limited government, fiscal responsibility and transparency.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

I am a free market person who believes that competition leads to more choices and more opportunities. If government will get out of the way by not picking winners and losers, free markets work well. Reducing taxes on small businesses will allow businesses to grow which in turn stimulates the economy and provides jobs, therefore bringing down the unemployment rate.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I believe insurance companies should be able to move across state lines. More insurance choice brings competition to the market place and drives costs down. People should be able to join vocational pools which help in reducing the cost for insurance since high risk members' costs are offset by healthy members. Also, we should have a high-risk pool for those who have limited options but need healthcare. Self-Insured Group Plans are another great option.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Reducing regulations, balancing the budget and reducing the dramatic growth in government will all help to make the economy stronger.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

BBA from University of Houston. Married 40 years, mother of 5, grandmother of 5, businesswoman for 35 years, home educator, grassroots activist, Lifelong Republican.
