Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Strongly Agree

iVoterGuide Note:  Peeples, a small  business consultant in Birmingham, said that Congress' process is flawed, in that is allows partisan politics to override policy. He said no health care law should even be voted on until a "bipartisan venture" involving "proper health care legislation" surfaces. "For eight years, we received the political posturing of how great or horrible (Obamacare) is and now we are presented with a parallel bill that still doesn't help the people of this state or country," he said. "Health care in America shouldn't be viewed as a partisan issue and unfortunately right now, it is."  Source

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Neutral

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Neutral

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Strongly Agree

Current regulations on domestic oil exploration and drilling are more restrictive than are necessary.

Neutral

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

More restrictive gun control laws are needed to protect public safety.

Strongly Disagree

The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self-interest into the most productive economic system there is.

Strongly Agree

Governments should pay to develop wind and solar energy solutions until they are economically feasible.

Strongly Disagree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe that life begins at conception and abortion is a violation of the rights of life given to us by God however life is a choice and a union between two people who love each other and made the choice to bring that life into existence. If a woman is raped or the life of the mother and child are on the line then only a medical professional in a hospital should provide the option for such procedure. Abortions should never be used as a form of birth control.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Greed, the hunger for power, and the imposing of will or doctrine against the needs of the people were what caused the carefully defined separation of powers and the checks and balances we have.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and have been all my life. I have experienced many differing denominations of Christianity in my lifetime and believe in the will, love, and power of God.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

3. I believe in a strong and secure border though I feel the "idea" of a wall and the funds for it can be spent on updating the technology used creating a virtual wall and the hiring and training of more border agents and enforcing our laws on the books instead of ignoring them. 4. I believe ISIS and the treat they pose should be taken care of however I also believe that Congress should be asked and approve any military actions only in a clear threat to our national safety. If we engage in military battles against ISIS then it must be done through a coalition such as NATO or the UN instead of unilateral actions. 13. We are a Democratic Republic and not a pure democracy.A pure Democracy would never work and be ultimately corrupted. 21. I believe we should legalize medicinal cannabis.

Additional comment from candidate:

We have a unique opportunity to change the course of Washington and provide a true, principled conservative that can communicate and bridge the divide we are experiencing nationally. I am 37 and bring optimism, passion, and hope for the future to this race. This race is about the people and the voices of those who are frustrated and feel forgotten. The status quo can no longer be accepted and the moral compass of this country needs to be pointed in the right direction once again. We need a leader who has the stamina, the courage, and the temperament to lead by example and not give in to the temptations of the system. I am the only candidate that brings sincerity, honesty, and integrity of self and God to the run. We have a chance to place Alabama in the leadership position of this country and give the voice of the people the opportunity to be heard in Washington they way they have always been supposed to. Let us bridge the gap of division and bring hope and change to Washington.
