Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Strongly Agree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Disagree

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self-interest into the most productive economic system there is.

Strongly Agree

Governments should pay to develop wind and solar energy solutions until they are economically feasible.

Strongly Disagree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with public funds.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion should never be allowed unless the mother and baby's lives are in imminent threat because of continued pregnancy. In these situations, I believe doctors have two patients, both the mother and the baby, whose lives should be saved if at all possible.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Our Founding Fathers believed strongly in a biblical worldview and translated those beliefs into a governing force as they intended by our U.S. Constitution. They were well aware of the propensity of man to attempt to gain power, control, and money due to the prideful, depraved nature of man. They thus instituted a government based on limited powers with checks and balances to ensure liberty for all.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I'm a born again, Bible believing Christian who accepted Jesus Christ as my own personal Lord and Savior when I was in my mid-40s. I gave my testimony on the Floor of the U.S. House describing how I met the Lord and how He's changed my life. This can be found at the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xquITTw3zuM. I attempt to be obedient to my Lord Jesus Christ in everything that I do, including running for Office as well as serving in Office. I ask four questions to evaluate all legislation: 1) Is it right and moral? Is it Biblically correct and does it fit the Judeo-Christian Biblical principles our Nation was founded upon? 2) Is it Constitutional according to the Original Intent of our Founding Fathers? 3) Do we need it? 4) Can we afford it? If all four questions are "yes" I will vote "yes." If just one is "no" I will vote "no."

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Very Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

Additional comment from candidate:

I would greatly appreciate prayers for me, my family, and my staff for the following: 1) Protection- physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually 2) Blessings- according to God's riches and glory 3) Obedience- to my Lord so that we glorify and honor Him in all that we say and do Additionally, the first bill that I introduced in my previous time in Congress was my Sanctity of Human Life Act, which defines life as beginning at fertilization. This will be the very first bill that I introduce when I'm back in Congress in 2017.
