I believe abortion is an elective procedure when chosen for non-medical reasons, but I recognize it can also be medically necessary. While I am personally pro-life, I respect the abortion laws Arizona voters have enacted. As Governor, I will neither seek to overturn nor expand those laws. If Arizona's abortion laws change in the future, I believe that decision should be be made by the voters. I also believe taxpayer dollars should continue to fund abortions only when they are medically necessary

Under Arizona law it is up to 24 weeks. I do not plan to try to retract the law or undermine it. Though I am pro-life and believe that there are other options, I also believe in IVF and women's health and rights. I want to help support mothers and families by increasing pamphlets in clinics to provide to families when they come in versus having only one set up happening like now. Mothers need to know all options as they make their own.

I believe an unborn child is a human life and deserves legal protections and recognition of its rights. Every life has inherent value and dignity, and society has a responsibility to protect those who cannot protect themselves. At the same time, I recognize that pregnancy can involve complex and deeply personal medical circumstances. My approach is to uphold the value of unborn life while respecting the law established by Arizona voters.

Many families rely on IVF to build their families, and the opportunity to have children is deeply important to them. Eliminating access to IVF would have a devastating impact on countless individuals, families, and communities who depend on this option to achieve their dream of becoming parents.

I support greater oversight of abortion medications when they are prescribed. As with other medical services, healthcare providers should only prescribe medications if they are licensed in the state where the patient is receiving care. I believe the same standard should apply to abortion medications. While I recognize there are ongoing legal/public policy issues surrounding this topic, these medications should be prescribed under the same licensing requirements that govern other prescriptions.

I support increasing Arizona's minimum wage, but I believe wage increases must be paired with policies that keep inflation under control. Raising wages alone is not enough if the cost of other essentials continues to rise.

I believe free enterprise and the right to private property are fundamental to a strong and productive economy. When individuals have the freedom to innovate, invest, own property, and build businesses, they create jobs, expand opportunity, and strengthen communities. Government should protect these rights while promoting fair competition, enforcing the rule of law, and ensuring every Arizonan has the opportunity to succeed.

To me, the separation of church and state means that government should not establish, favor, or require any religion, and every person should be free to practice—or not practice—their faith without government interference. It protects both religious liberty and individual freedom. As a person of faith, my values shape who I am and how I lead, but my responsibility as Governor is to serve every Arizonan equally, regardless of their religion or beliefs.

Yes. I believe individuals and businesses that offer goods or services to the public should provide those services without discriminating against customers based on protected characteristics, even when doing so may conflict with the owner's personal moral or religious beliefs. At the same time, I strongly support every person's right to hold and practice their religious beliefs. I believe government should protect both religious liberty and equal access to public accommodations.

I support maintaining a government database of individuals with ongoing medical illnesses for the limited purpose of understanding the economic burden of disease, improving healthcare planning, and ensuring resources are directed where they are needed most. Accurate data can help policymakers identify trends, forecast future healthcare costs, and evaluate treatment outcomes. Any such database must include strong privacy and security protections.

I believe this is true because the Chinese Communist Party has increasingly challenged U.S. national security through military expansion, cyber espionage, intellectual property theft, and economic influence. Protecting American innovation, critical infrastructure, and supply chains is essential to safeguarding our economy, national security, and long-term competitiveness while continuing to distinguish the actions of the CCP from the Chinese people.

Yes. I believe the United States' relationship with Israel is important because strong alliances with democratic nations help promote global stability, security, and economic cooperation. More broadly, I believe the United States should strive to build and maintain strong relationships with all foreign nations whenever possible through diplomacy, mutual respect, trade, and shared security interests. While disagreements will inevitably arise, our goal should always be peace.

I do not support sanctuary city policies because I believe immigration laws should be enforced consistently and that state and local governments should cooperate with federal authorities to protect public safety. At the same time, I believe every person should be treated with dignity and respect, and legal immigration should continue to be welcomed and supported.

I do not support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education because I believe the federal government plays an important role in protecting educational opportunities, enforcing civil rights, supporting students with disabilities, and providing funding for schools. While I strongly support giving states and local communities greater flexibility in how they educate students, I believe the better solution is to reform and improve the Department of Education—not eliminate it.

As an LPC, mandated reporter, and Ph.D., I understand that child abuse is defined by law. If permitted under state law, it is not legally considered child abuse, even if I personally disagree with it. I do not believe minors should undergo permanent sex-reassignment procedures or receive hormone therapies for gender transition. Based on my clinical training and experience, I believe children are still developing & are not equipped to make irreversible medical decisions w/ lifelong consequences.

I do not believe government should determine or restrict the legal right of consenting adults to marry based on their sex or gender. My personal religious beliefs guide my own life, but as a public servant, I believe government should protect the constitutional rights and equal treatment of all people under the law while respecting every individual's freedom.

I support the responsible expansion of gambling in Arizona because it can create jobs, strengthen tourism, generate additional state and tribal revenue, and stimulate economic growth. When properly regulated, gaming can provide funding for important public priorities while protecting consumers and promoting responsible gambling practices. Any expansion should include strong oversight, transparency, and resources for gambling addiction prevention and treatment.

I am a Christian who was raised in the Lutheran church and gave my life fully to Jesus Christ 18 years ago at the age of 23. Today, I attend CCV Church and am actively committed to daily prayer, Bible study, and living out my faith. I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only way to salvation, and I believe the Bible—the Old and New Testaments—is the inspired Word of God and the foundation of my faith. I believe voters should be required to present a valid photo identification when voting to help protect election integrity and strengthen public confidence in our elections. Just as identification is required for many important activities, requiring photo ID is a reasonable safeguard that helps ensure each eligible voter casts only one ballot while preserving the integrity of the electoral process. At the same time, I support making photo identification readily accessible for voters.

I disagree with this statement because I believe all Americans have the right to practice their religion freely, including Muslims, so long as those practices do not conflict with the U.S. Constitution or the laws of the United States. No religious law—including Sharia, Christian doctrine, or any other faith tradition—should replace or supersede the Constitution. However, individuals should remain free to voluntarily follow the religious teachings of their faith in their personal lives.

I support protecting the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Arizonans while promoting responsible gun ownership. I believe firearms should be kept out of the hands of individuals who are legally prohibited from possessing them.
