Elective abortion in Arizona should remain legal early in pregnancy, with the decision left to a woman and her doctor—not politicians. Later in the term restrictions may be reasonable, but exceptions must protect the mother’s life and health and cover rape, incest, and severe or fatal fetal conditions. We should also reduce abortions by expanding healthcare, contraception, childcare, adoption support, and economic security.

Human life has inherent and tangible value, but I do not believe full legal personhood begins at conception. That standard would allow government to override a woman’s medical privacy, bodily autonomy, and difficult private decisions made in consultation with her doctor. However, markets need fair rules that prevent fraud, exploitation, monopolies, and environmental harm. Economic freedom works best when it is paired with competition, accountability, worker protections, and opportunity for small businesses.

My priorities are to audit ineffective programs, eliminate duplicative agencies and contracts, strengthen oversight of procurement, recover fraud and improper payments, and require measurable results for taxpayer-funded programs. I would protect essential services while redirecting wasteful spending toward classrooms, healthcare, infrastructure, and public safety.

Separation of church and state means government must not establish, favor, or impose a religion, while every person remains free to practice—or not practice—their faith.
