QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I believe that every unborn child is a gift from God and deserves the right to life. As a mother of 5 and your Secretary of State, I have stood as a firewall against the radical liberal machine and groups like Planned Parenthood that want to impose extreme, taxpayer-funded abortion policies on our state. I have spent years in the trenches fighting their legal challenges and protecting the integrity of our laws.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, this is a shield, not a sword. It protects the Church from government overreach, it was never meant to scrub faith from the populous. We are a Christian Nation. Our Founders intended "freedom of religion," not "freedom from religion." My Christian faith informs my values and my leadership, and I’ll never apologize for it. In Congress, I’ll fight to protect our First Amendment rights and ensure the Government never dictates how we worship or live out our beliefs. Faith is our foundation.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

I select Option C. The federal bureaucracy has often prioritized expansive foreign commitments at the expense of our own national sovereignty. While I support a strong national defense, our primary responsibility is to the American people and the security of our borders. We must exercise restraint, intervening only when there is a clear and imminent threat to our interests. My record is one of prioritizing Montana’s needs, and I will maintain that focus on American sovereignty in Congresss

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

This relationship is vital for national security, particularly regarding intelligence sharing and cybersecurity. We share a fundamental commitment to democratic values and regional stability. Supporting Israel ensures a reliable partner against shared adversaries while protecting our mutual interests.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I select Option C. Medicare and Medicaid are vital safety nets for our seniors and most vulnerable, and I’ll fight to protect them. But we must stop the radical Left’s push for government-run healthcare that destroys choice and fuels inflation. I’m for an approach where we focus on lowering costs through private-sector competition, cutting red tape, and fostering the same innovation I’ve championed as Secretary of State.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Neutral

iVoterGuide Notes:

Candidate notified iVoterGuide that the intended answer to this question should have been ‘Strongly Disagree.' This change was not considered during panel evaluations.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Audit Everything: No more black holes at the IRS or another government agency 2. Eliminate redundant agencies. 3. Balanced budget. 4. End Foreign Aid to Adversaries: Our money stays here. 5. Outlaw foreign lobbying outside key allies and trade partners.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I believe immigration must be legal, orderly, and designed to serve the national interest. I support a merit-based system that prioritizes individuals who possess the skills to strengthen our economy and a genuine commitment to our constitutional values. We must move away from policies that incentivize illegal entry and toward a framework that upholds the rule of law. Entry should be governed by rigorous vetting and established legal channels to ensure our national security and sover

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

Sanctuary cities need to be audited, defunded, and forced to conform to federal immigration law.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Second Amendment is a fundamental constitutional right. Public safety is most effectively addressed by enforcing existing laws and managing mental health challenges, rather than expanding the administrative state with new restrictions that penalize law-abiding citizens.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

My views are rooted in my Christian faith.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My Christian faith is the bedrock of my life and leadership. It instills an unwavering commitment to integrity, service, and the inherent dignity of every individual. These values, combined with my roots as a lifelong Montanan, shape my belief in hard work, personal accountability, and the importance of family. In public service, I am guided by a sense of stewardship and a duty to protect the constitutional liberties that allow all citizens to live according to their conscience.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I will champion Montana-style Voter ID laws in national discussions. My Secretary of State office has done a lot of good work to secure our elections.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Coal and natural gas are our most reliable energy foundations. Nuclear energy's role should be significantly expanded on top of that foundation.
