RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer dollars should never fund abortion providers. That’s not healthcare—it’s the taking of innocent life. If someone wants to support that, they can do it privately. Government’s role is to protect life, not subsidize its destruction. We should be directing resources toward real healthcare—care that supports mothers, families, and children.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Elective abortion should not be allowed. Life begins before birth, and our laws should reflect that truth. The role of government is to protect innocent life, not define when it has value. We should be focused on supporting mothers and families, not ending the life of a child.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Human life is not conditional—it doesn’t depend on stage, location, or circumstance. From conception to natural death, every life has inherent value and deserves legal protection. That’s the foundation of a just society. If we get that wrong, everything else is built on shaky ground.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Human life doesn’t gain value based on how it was created. An embryo—whether conceived naturally or through IVF—is still a human life and deserves protection from intentional destruction. We shouldn’t treat human life as disposable or subject to convenience. Our laws should reflect that every life has inherent worth.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
Yes. The law matters. If a federal statute like the Comstock Act is on the books, it should be enforced—not ignored based on politics. Mailing abortion drugs bypasses safeguards and accountability. My wife, Director of Path, a pro-life Christian nonprofit, has shared firsthand stories of the harm this is causing. It needs to stop now.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The Constitution does not say “separation of church and state.” Thomas Jefferson wrote of a “wall of separation between Church & State” in a private letter, explaining that government must not establish or control religion. It was never meant to remove faith from public life. The principle is separating government from the Church—and that distinction matters.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
No. No one should be forced by the government to violate their moral or religious beliefs. Freedom of conscience is foundational to a free society. That includes individuals and business owners. We can protect both access to services and the right to live and work according to deeply held beliefs—without government coercion.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Yes. The Chinese Communist Party poses a real and growing threat—militarily, economically, and through cyber and IP theft. We’ve allowed critical dependencies and vulnerabilities to develop. We need to secure our supply chains, protect American innovation, and take a clear-eyed, strong stance to defend our national interests.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. Israel is one of our strongest allies in a critical region. We share strategic interests, intelligence cooperation, and a commitment to stability in the Middle East. A strong U.S.–Israel relationship strengthens our national security, deters adversaries, and supports an ally that consistently stands with us.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C. Medicaid and Medicare should remain as safety nets, but we don’t need to expand taxpayer-funded healthcare beyond that. Government-run systems drive up costs, reduce quality, and limit choice. The focus should be on increasing competition, transparency, and patient control—so people can access better care at lower cost without growing government dependency.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
No. That kind of database raises serious privacy and civil liberty concerns. People’s medical information should not be tracked by the government beyond what’s absolutely necessary for care and existing programs. We can address costs through transparency and efficiency—not by building systems that monitor and profile citizens’ health.
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Government shouldn’t be setting wages. A mandated minimum wage sounds good, but it often hurts the very people it claims to help—pricing out entry-level workers, reducing opportunities, and driving up costs. Wages should be determined by the market.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Free enterprise and private property are the foundation of a strong economy and a free society. When people can own property and pursue opportunity without excessive government interference, innovation thrives and prosperity follows. My campaign is focused on ending property tax—because you don’t truly own your property if you have to keep paying the government to keep it.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Bring Idaho into the next era by responsibly using AI to automate routine government functions. Cut bureaucracy, reduce administrative costs, and speed up services for citizens. This isn’t about replacing people—it’s about eliminating waste and refocusing human effort where it actually matters. Government should be efficient, accountable, and built for the future.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
No. Sanctuary cities undermine the rule of law and create uneven enforcement. We can be compassionate without ignoring immigration laws. Local governments shouldn’t block cooperation with federal authorities. A secure border and consistent enforcement protect communities and uphold fairness for those who follow the legal process.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Education decisions should be made closest to the students—by parents, local communities, and states, not federal bureaucrats. The Department of Education has added layers of cost and control without improving outcomes. Returning authority locally empowers families, improves accountability, and allows education to reflect the needs and values of each community.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Foreign governments should not be funding American education. That creates influence risks, conflicts of interest, and potential national security concerns. Our schools and universities should be accountable to the American people—not foreign actors. Transparency and safeguards are essential to protect our institutions and students.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The goal is justice—protecting the innocent, holding offenders accountable, and upholding the rule of law. It should deter crime, ensure consequences are fair and consistent, and prioritize the safety of communities while respecting constitutional rights.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Protecting children from online sexual exploitation is a core responsibility of government. That means enforcing laws, going after predators, and working with platforms to stop abuse. We can do that while still respecting privacy and constitutional rights.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
Yes. U.S. law must be based on the Constitution—not any foreign or religious legal system. Everyone is free to practice their faith, but our courts and laws must remain grounded in American constitutional principles, equal protection, and individual rights.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The Second Amendment is clear—law-abiding citizens have the right to keep and bear arms. The focus should be on enforcing existing laws and keeping guns out of the hands of violent criminals, not adding new restrictions on responsible gun owners. Public safety comes from accountability, not overreach.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Constitutional conservative. I believe in limited government, individual liberty, free enterprise, strong families, and faith as a foundation for our values. My focus is simple: protect rights, restore accountability, and put the people—not government—first.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No. I have never been penalized for sexual misconduct in any civil or criminal court.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No. I have never been convicted of a felony.
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Parents have the fundamental right—and responsibility—to direct their child’s health and education. Government should support that role, not override it. Families, not bureaucracies, know what’s best for their children. Policy should empower parents with transparency, choice, and control—not sideline them.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Yes. This should be treated as a felony. Children cannot consent to permanent, life-altering interventions. Attempts to physically or socially transition a minor risk lasting harm. The law should protect kids first—ensuring parents are involved and preventing irreversible decisions before a child can fully understand the consequences.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred, spiritual union and a contract before God between one man and one woman. Government does not have the authority to redefine what it did not create. Protecting this definition preserves the foundation of family and society while respecting the role of faith and tradition.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Strongly Disagree
No. Expanding gambling often brings more harm than benefit—addiction, financial strain, and social costs that outweigh short-term revenue. Government shouldn’t rely on people losing money to fund itself. We should be focused on building strong families, healthy communities, and sustainable economic growth instead.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My faith in Jesus Christ shapes how I see the world and how I serve others. I believe our rights come from God, not government, and that truth, accountability, and the Golden Rule matter. I’m not perfect, but I strive to lead with integrity, humility, and a commitment to do what’s right—even when it’s difficult.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
No. Secure elections require verification. Photo ID is a common-sense safeguard that helps ensure one person, one vote. We require ID for everyday activities—voting, which determines the direction of our country, should be no different. Access can be protected while still maintaining election integrity.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
No. Government should not allocate benefits or penalties based on race. That approach divides people and moves us backward. We should focus on equal opportunity, strong families, and policies that lift everyone—without singling out individuals by race.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
Yes. Policies should be based on biological sex to ensure fairness and safety. Women’s sports and private spaces exist for a reason—equal competition, privacy, and protection. We can treat every person with dignity while maintaining clear, common-sense boundaries that protect women and girls.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Disagree
No. The climate changes, but alarm-driven policies often expand government control without delivering real results. We should focus on practical solutions—innovation, responsible stewardship, and energy independence—without sacrificing economic stability or personal freedom.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Reliable, on-demand energy is key. Natural gas and nuclear provide consistent, scalable power to meet growing demand. Hydropower is also critical in Idaho. We should prioritize dependable, affordable energy that can support real growth.
