Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Abortion is a sensitive issue that needs to be treated as such and blanket statements like this can cause misunderstandings. Every future mother and father could use more support from friends, families, neighbors, and strangers. Everyone deserves a chance in life and it is our responsibility as a community to help those who are struggling no matter their past choices. I ask that all my following abortion survey answers are looked at that way.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
If I have to answer blanket statement just for the life of the mother, but case by case is always my first choice. Who am I to tell someone they must carry a child that was conceived under terrible circumstances they must bring the child to full term. Once again, we as a community are responsible to help and protect everyone within that community.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

I believe this should be banned, but it could also be used to abuse the Fourth Amendment through unlawful searches and seizures. Therefore, we must examine every law and consider the consequences of how it may impact our rights and freedoms.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The government has no right to force a specific religion on anyone and should allow free conversation and open debate about any and all religions.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. C. I don't know if my life has improved from any of the "wars" the United States has fought in my life time. I'm not saying there is causation but there is certainly correlation that the more the U.S. has been in wars and proxy wars, especially in the Middle East, my cost of living has only increased.

Communism is a threat and I want freedom for all people, but we're struggling to take care of our own problems in this country that I don't know if we can expend many resources in the prevention of the growth and influence in the world of the CCP.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
It is one of the most important relationships that we need to immediately break away from. Our Secretary of State and Speaker of the House said it best, Israel forced our hand in this war with Iran and this war will, if it already hasn't, destroy relationships with many other countries. It will only add to national debt and continue to further bankrupt our country. It seems we will have long-term pain for what appears like almost no gain. So I would immediately end our relationship with Israel.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to American citizens safety as well as all forms of terrorism, but I have seen how the United States try's to protect it's citizens and it comes at the cost of losing freedom.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
The Federal Government should stay out of healthcare, if our healthcare system is funded by the government, they can control what, when, and how we receive medical attention, and I remember how the Covid-19 pandemic was handled by our government. We need to deregulate health insurance and allow for a more competitive market to lower cost and welcome innovation to the market.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

This is a bad question. If taxes actually went to help those in need, I would support it, if the tax code was simplified and actually was fair and equal so everyone was paying an equal amount to the percentage of their income, I would support it, but taxes are wasted on fraud, abuse, foreign interests and corruption.

So much so that I would go against the will of party elites to prevent anymore debt increase.

Codify the D.O.G.E cuts like our President promised. Work to ensure the pentagon passes it's audit, and if not maybe on the 9th year that they failed we could enforce compliance since we didn't the past 8 years. Cut all foreign aid, this waste here is major contributor of the government’s corruption.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Everyone is welcome to come here, I would argue it needs to be done legally. How a person becomes a legal citizen should be made easier and should be a conversation amongst our lawmakers because it seems like we are just trying to plug holes instead of stopping what is causing the leak. I do take issues with certain business and corporations exploiting the system so they can acquire cheaper labor through our immigration programs and those need to be looked at and reformed.
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

It seems these are just ways for cities and states to better hide corruption under the disguise of charity and good will. If they actually cared they would fight for reformation of how immigrants become citizens.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

I support the President when he made the promise of eliminating the Department of Education. I support it so much that if he doesn't follow through on this promise, I would fight in congress to make it happen.

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am foremost a Child of God and we are all his sons and daughters and we need to treat each other as such. It is my goal in life to follow Christ's example as best I can. I believe if everyone truly lived trying to follow Jesus Christ example the world would be a better place. As His sons and daughters, we need to serve and help others, we need to forgive everyone for the benefit and healing of our souls. We need to seek humility and we need to be courageous to stand up for what is right because the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men do nothing.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear power seems to have a lot of upsides and could be a viable option. We do also have access to the solar system’s largest nuclear reactor and I still think we can make large leaps forward in solar energy.
