I believe that at the very core of our nation’s foundation is the fundamental right to life — a right that must be protected without compromise. From conception and throughout every stage of life, that right deserves unwavering defense. Our government should never fund or support any organization that permits the taking of innocent life or diminishes the value of that principle.

I strongly believe that human life is sacred and made in the image of Almighty God. Knowing this, I believe we have a duty to protect human life and that includes safeguarding unborn babies from elective abortions. As Alabama Republican Party Chairman, I have personally authored resolutions and worked on legislation to protect human life.

Once again, I firmly believe that every individual possesses an absolute right to life. This principle was added to the Alabama Republican Party's platform and I proudly supported and voted for it.

Separation of church and state does not mean separation of church from state. It is important to remember our Founding Fathers' vision on the subject. Government should not have power to regulate the free exercise of religion. However, they never thought that God or Christians should be removed from the political process. You cannot separate God from government without catastrophic consequences. I have been a vocal advocate of returning this understanding to both state and federal government.

Individual liberty is a cornerstone of a free society. Every person must have the freedom to live according to their conscience, without undue interference from the government. As Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, I supported legislation that guaranteed this fundamental right.

The Chinese Communist Party is one of the greatest threats not only to the United States, but to free societies around the world. I have been a strong advocate on this issue at the state level and made it a legislative priority for the Alabama Republican Party to prevent the Chinese government from purchasing property in Alabama. I am proud that we successfully passed legislation putting those safeguards in place and protecting our state’s security and sovereignty.

Yes. Israel represents our strongest ally in a complicated region. We can debate how much financial support the US government should extend to the nation of Israel, but it is impossible to ignore their importance to our country.

I strongly believe in the right of every individual to make their own medical decisions, and that socialized medicine does not work. In the end, it will provide terrible service that will leave people in need. The Founding Fathers' never envisioned a government that got involved in the private medical decisions of the individual. However, on the issue of Medicare and Medicaid, I believe it is important for the government to fulfill their commitments to taxpayers.

Programs like this are a clear example of what can happen when healthcare becomes socialized — bureaucratic decisions replace patient-centered care, and those with the greatest medical needs risk being overlooked or deprioritized. I am a strong advocate for medical freedom and keeping government out of individual's private records and healthcare decisions. I proudly helped author and pass a bill that made vaccine mandates illegal in Alabama.

As a small business owner and farmer, I firmly believe that free enterprise and the right to private property are foundational principles of our society and essential to a strong, thriving economy.

I believe that government at every level can and should cut wasteful spending. I support downsizing government as a whole. Four areas that I would highlight include: 1. Work to phase out the state income tax. 2. Cut all funding to any abortion providers. 3. Stop the use of taxpayer money to be used for lobbying and/or campaign-style ads. 4. Implement a DOGE-style organization on the state level to identify areas of government waste.

The U.S. Department of Education should never have been created and should be abolished as soon as possible. The federal government has no constitutional role in education and this responsibility should be returned to the states and to the parents where it belongs. I have openly and publicly advocated for the abolishment of the U.S. Department of Education.

One of the foundational principles of any society should be to protect children from sexual exploitation. I have consistently had to explain this concept to the liberal media as Chairman of the Alabama Public Library Service Board. Since the beginning of time, righteous men and women have protected their children and that is a standard that I will always stand for.

The American legal system is rooted in English common law and deeply influenced by Judeo-Christian moral principles. Sharia law is fundamentally at odds with both that foundation and the protections guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Our courts must remain grounded in American law and constitutional standards — not foreign legal systems.

The Second Amendment clearly states that the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. I believe strongly in that right and was proud to help pass Alabama’s Constitutional Carry law, securing that protection for every Alabama citizen. It is important to remember that, as our Founding Fathers intended, the Second Amendment is not merely about hunting or personal protection, but serves as a vital check and balance on government power.

I am unapologetically both a fiscal and social conservative. My record as Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party and as Chairman of the Alabama Public Library Service reflects that commitment. I consistently supported policies focused on limited government, lower taxes, election integrity, and the protection of constitutional freedoms. I believe in the principles that made America great and will never backdown from our nation's foundation of faith, freedom, and family values.

Parental rights are among the most important issues facing our country today. As Chairman of the Alabama Public Library Service, I have taken a firm stand to restore decision-making authority to parents where it rightfully belongs. Alabama families, not unelected bureaucrats, are best equipped to guide the values, education, and upbringing of their children.

There is a clear agenda from the left to sexualize our children and push gender ideology on the most innocent among us. I have a strong track record on this issue. As Chairman of the Alabama GOP, I supported legislation to protect children, and as Chairman of the Alabama Public Library Service, I have worked tirelessly on this issue, and the Board recently changed Alabama code to require all libraries to remove transgender material from youth sections.
