RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Human life absolutely has value. Value which is inherent from its early stages until natural death. This is foundational and guides me in my beliefs when it comes to protecting and supporting students and families, especially in the most difficult of situations.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
School's should give support that provides a compassionate response and practical help for any student facing a crisis pregnancy. This could include counseling, academic flexibility, or referrals for services if absolutely necessary, while maintaining respect for the parents rights and state law. A school's role is not to guide a student to the conclusion of abortion or adoption, but to provide care, knowledge, and stability so that the student in question can continue her education and make well informed decisions with trusted adults involved.
ECONOMY
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.
Agree
Student loan forgiveness should not put a heavy cost on taxpayers as they did not choose to take on those debts and it does not fix the underlying issues of rising tuition. I would support solutions that lower the overall cost of getting an education, improve transparency, and expand on trade schools, job training, and alternative pathways so fewer students don't find themselves forced into unsustainable amounts of debt in the first place.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I absolutely support strong investment into public education, specifically in early childhood and K-12, where it has the biggest long-term impact. Funding should target classrooms, teachers, and student services over bureaucracy. As for higher education, funding should focus on affordability, workforce demands, and accountability so that students are not driven into a plethora of debt.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
With regard to public schools, what does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state should mean that the government should not be forcing religion on students or run by religious instruction, but that it should also not be pushing faith out of public life. Students and staff should be free to pray and express thief beliefs without punishment or pressure. Schools should respect faith while remaining focused on education, not indoctrination.
IMMIGRATION
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enhances the safety and security of communities by identifying and detaining illegal aliens.
Agree
As a Dad, I believe that there is an order to things and that safety matters, but so does doing what is right. When properly run with oversight and respect for the law, ICE can improve public safety by targeting serious crime. I do not support lawless or abusive enforcement. Government entities must act within Constitution. People should be treated with dignity, respect, and basic human value unless absolutely necessary otherwise.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
Schools need to be more focused on education, counseling, and giving support where it is needed, but they absolutely should not be referring students to organizations centered on abortion or gender transition. Medical and life decisions belong on parents and families, not school systems. The school's role is to provide stability, care, and accurate information while showing respect to parental rights and state laws.
Consequences for bad behavior create a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
A safe and orderly environment is essential to a strong learning experience. The rules need to be laid out clearly and executed fairly, while remembering that consistent consequences help protect both students and teachers while affirming personal responsibility. Disciplining a student should be firm but should also be paired with guidance and support so that students can learn from mistakes and grow from the experience.
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
Students absolutely need to learn about America's founding documents. So they both know and understand their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Civics is critical and teaches students how our government works. Teaching patriotism means helping students value the freedoms that they were born into while also learning the history of our country. A strong education in civics builds informed citizens, not political activists.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Disagree
Learning works best when parents and local communities have a strong voice. I do believe that the federal role in education should be limited and accountable, it still has a play in protecting civil rights while supporting special education. I believe that eliminating the department of education entirely is a bit extreme and that reform and simplification makes a bit more sense.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
Teaching Sex education should be subtle and fairly forward. It should include human anatomy, the stages of pregnancy, fetal development, physical and emotional health outcomes, consent, and abstinence. It should be age appropriate, medically accurate, and respect parental involvement. Schools should not be providing explicit sexual content or promoting ideology, focus on health, responsibility, and personal boundaries.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning
Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, American History, Civics, Personal Finances, Information Technology, Foreign Language, Physical Fitness, Art& Music, Vocational Learning, Social Emotional Learning. We should not be teaching Gender Identity, Political Activism, or otherwise. We are raising children to think for themselves not what to think.
Public schools should prioritize academic achievement and building character necessary to preserve American traditions and self-government.
Strongly Agree
Schools should be focused on strong academics and character. This will help students grow into responsible, informed citizens. Teaching civics, history, and respect for the our system of self-government helps students understand their rights and duties as citizens. Education should prepare our children for life not political activism.
School choice creates competition, and that competition will push public schools to improve their educational systems.
Strongly Agree
Families need options when schools are not meeting the needs of their children. School choice can inspire innovation and improvement by giving parents a voice. Public schools should stand strong, but competition can help raise standards, increase accountability, and push systems to serve students and families better.
VALUES
Biological males should be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Disagree
Women's sports and female-only spaces exist for good reason whether or be fairness, safety, or privacy. There is no question that biological differences matter in sports and in settings like locker rooms and bathrooms. Respecting everyone does not mean we ignore the biological reality of things. Schools and institutions should be all about protecting women and girls while treating everyone with respect and dignity.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
As a Christian who believes in the value of human life, personal accountability and loving others while standing on truth. I am reminded myself that Christ taught us that we are called to love others as he loved us, that every person is created in the image of God. Because of these truths, everyone deserves to be treated with fairness, respect, and equality. While my faith keeps me grounded it also teaches me about order, accountability, and moral clarity matter. These are the values that guide how I approach leadership and education, and this is why I believe schools should focus on learning, character, and protecting children.
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Parents have a responsibility and right to be involved in all aspects of their child's life. This includes making decisions about their health and education. Government and schools need to absolutely support parents, not replace them. Kids get a better all around educational experience when schools partner with families, respect parental authority, and keep parents informed in regard to their children.
I support the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that people should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
Strongly Agree
I believe that people should be treated based of who they are and how they have acted, not the color of their skin. Dr.King's message reminds us that respect, fairness, and equal opportunity matter. Schools should be teaching respect for others and preparing students to live and work with others as equals.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Mental health conditions such as anorexia and gender dysphoria need to be treated, not affirmed.

School library books that have literary value, as determined by experts, should be exempt from obscenity laws.
Strongly Disagree
I do not support censorship but books in school libraries should be age-appropriate, should give respect to community standards, and the role of parents. Literary value can be evaluated on a one off basis but it should not give out blanket approval for explicit or obscene material being made available to children. Schools need to be focused on content that is educational, supports both learning & development, not material that could undermine parents or expose students to inappropriate content.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.

What political party are you affiliated with?
Did not answer
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to immigration and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Lean Conservative
My personal beliefs are guided more by values and common sense then party labels. I find myself standing firm on parental rights, public safety, and personal responsibility, but I do try and approach all issues thoughtfully and independently. My priorities are about what is best for the students, families, and the community that elects me. Not political ideology.
2ND AMENDMENT
Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.
Agree
The safety of our children must come before everything else. If a member of faculty is properly licensed, continues to receive training, and willingly volunteers for the role, then I do not see an issue with this. As these individuals could provide the last line of defense in a life-threatening situation. This should obviously not replace law enforcement, proper prevention, or security planning, but instead be part of a controlled and well-regulated safety strategy.
