QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

To save the life of the pregnant woman in a medical emergency.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, separation of church and state means the government cannot favor one faith, but it must honor the moral foundation upon which this nation was built. Christianity has inspired laws and ideals that promote justice and liberty. Citizens are free to worship as they choose, while government serves all, guided by principles of fairness, virtue, and the common good.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, the United States’ relationship with Israel is important. It must be balanced with our broader commitments in the Middle East. I support Israel’s security and independence and pursuing diplomacy/stability for all in the region. It must be guided by prudence, fairness, and the pursuit of lasting peace for both Israelis and their neighbors. We should aim to have a working and beneficial relationship with all, really. I am running for state office and have no say over foreign affairs, however.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I believe we should ensure no one is left without care, but we must also preserve freedom of choice. Private healthcare, guided by competition, delivers quality and innovation, while targeted government programs support those who need a hand-up. This balance protects both liberty and the health of our communities. Options C or B most closely align with my views.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

My position on the minimum wage is simple: a full-time worker should not live in poverty. A fair wage boosts purchasing power, strengthens communities, and reflects our values. Growth must be fair, lifting all boats, not leaving the worker behind.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

We must cut red tape, end redundant programs, and improve oversight. Every taxpayer dollar should work smarter, not harder—building a lean, efficient government that serves all Arkansans.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system must be to protect society. It should punish wrongdoing justly, rehabilitate those who can be restored, and deter future crime. Justice is not only the swift hand of the law, but also the careful work of building a society where opportunity, responsibility, and moral accountability guide both citizens and leaders.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I strongly defend the 2nd Amendment as a protection of liberty and self-defense. Responsible enforcement of existing laws ensures public safety without infringing on the rights of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and their families, enjoy sport, and secure freedom.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I do not think government should be involved in the marriage business at all, however.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My faith in Christ guides every decision I make, reminding me that leaders are humble servants who answer both to God and the people. I strive to "do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly". I see service to others as service to Christ Himself, for He said "Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me." Honesty, compassion, and forgiveness shape my character, and through prayer, connection, and community service, I seek to uplift those around me, strengthen our neighborhoods, and honor the calling to lead with integrity and faith. I am "chief among sinners" and I am thankful for redemption - I do not see myself as better than anyone else.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

As demands grow, we must balance reliable, affordable energy with growing policies/regulations. Changing rules threaten abilities to provide dependable energy, hurting members in my district. The mix matters, nuclear to coal, solar to natural gas.
