QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I believe taxpayer dollars should not be used to fund abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood. Public funds should support life-affirming healthcare, prenatal care, and services that truly help women and families. I support directing federal, state, and local resources—including Title X funds—toward providers that respect life and offer comprehensive care without performing abortions.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I strongly oppose abortion and believe every human life is sacred from the moment of conception. I support laws that prohibit abortion in nearly all cases, with the only exception being a true medical emergency to save the mother’s life. In those rare situations, doctors must be able to act. Outside of that, I believe our duty is to protect the unborn and support mothers with compassionate, life-affirming alternatives.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I strongly support the principle that human life deserves legal protection from conception in the mother’s womb until natural death. Every life has inherent value and dignity, and our laws should protect the most vulnerable at every stage of life.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

I believe human life deserves recognition and protection once an embryo is implanted in the womb. At that point, a pregnancy exists, and both the mother and the developing child deserve care, dignity, and legal consideration. Any policies addressing embryos or pregnancy must respect life while also recognizing the medical realities faced by women and families, and they must be written narrowly to avoid unintended consequences or government overreach.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

I support enforcing the Comstock Act, which prohibits the interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs. Laws passed by Congress matter and should be upheld as written. Enforcing the Comstock Act helps protect unborn life, ensures accountability, and respects the rule of law rather than allowing federal statutes to be ignored for political convenience.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

I strongly support the separation of church and state in Arkansas. Government should not interfere with religious belief, nor should it favor one faith over another. Protecting this separation ensures religious freedom for all and allows faith to thrive without government control or influence.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly oppose requiring individuals or businesses to provide services that violate their moral or religious beliefs. Freedom of conscience is a fundamental right, and no one should be forced by the government to act against deeply held convictions. Protecting these freedoms is essential to a free society.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that the Chinese Communist Party, and other foriegn entities poses serious military, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States. We must remain vigilant, protect our national security, defend American innovation, and stand firm against foreign aggression and influence.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

I strongly agree that the United States’ relationship with Israel is important. Israel is a key democratic ally in the Middle East, a strategic partner in national security, and a shared defender of freedom, stability, and the rule of law. Supporting Israel strengthens American interests and global security.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I believe government-funded health insurance should be available as an option for anyone who wants it, while still preserving private health care choices. Offering both allows individuals and families to choose what works best for them while encouraging competition, access, and affordability in our health care system.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly disagree with the government maintaining databases of citizens’ medical conditions to assess economic costs. Medical information is deeply personal, and tracking individuals in this way threatens privacy, invites abuse, and expands government intrusion into personal health decisions. Protecting patient privacy must come first.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I believe wages should reflect skill and value. Raising minimum wage raises costs and prices. Entry-level workers should earn entry pay, then earn more as they gain skills. Pay should be earned, not guaranteed by government mandate.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

I believe free enterprise and the right to private property are essential to a productive and prosperous economy. When individuals are free to own property, build businesses, and benefit from their hard work, innovation grows, jobs are created, and communities thrive. Government should protect these rights, not hinder them.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Arkansas can cut government waste by strengthening legislative audits, eliminating overlapping programs, requiring sunset clauses for new laws, limiting no-bid contracts, and modernizing outdated systems. These steps ensure accountability, reduce inefficiency, and protect taxpayer dollars.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly oppose sanctuary cities. Local and state governments should not ignore or undermine federal law. Sanctuary policies weaken public safety, strain resources, and erode trust in the rule of law. Immigration laws should be enforced fairly and consistently, not selectively.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and returning control of education to states and local communities. Decisions about schools are best made close to students, parents, and teachers—not by federal bureaucrats. Local control encourages accountability, flexibility, more efficiency, and better outcomes.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

I believe foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education. Our schools should serve the interests of American students and communities—not foreign governments seeking influence. Protecting educational independence is a matter of national security and sovereignty.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The primary goal of the criminal justice system should be to protect public safety while ensuring justice is fair, consistent, and constitutional. That means holding offenders accountable, deterring crime, and removing dangerous individuals from society, while also respecting due process and victims’ rights. The system should emphasize responsibility, restitution where appropriate, and rehabilitation for those willing to change—so communities are safer and trust in the rule of law is preserved.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation online. Safeguarding minors from predators, harmful content, and exploitation must be a top priority, and technology companies should be held accountable for the platforms they operate.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated into the legal framework of the United States. American laws must be based on the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees equal rights, due process, and religious freedom for all—not any foreign or religious legal system.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Gun restrictions do not promote public safety. Any gun restriction should only be considered if narrow in scope, constitutional, and focused on public safety. Laws should target violent criminals, enforce existing statutes, and include strict due-process protections. Law-abiding citizens should not be punished or restricted for the actions of criminals.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Based on my views across economic policy, social issues, foreign affairs, and religious liberty, I consider myself very conservative. I support limited government, strong national defense, traditional values, individual responsibility, and constitutional freedoms.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that parents have the fundamental right and essential duty to direct their child’s health and educational well-being. Families—not government—know what is best for their children. Protecting parental rights strengthens families and leads to healthier, more successful communities.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse. Children deserve protection, not irreversible decisions made before they are mature enough to understand the consequences. Our duty is to safeguard their health, safety, and long-term well-being.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that marriage is a God-ordained, sacred, and legal union between one man and one woman. This definition is rooted in faith, tradition, and natural law, and no government has the authority to redefine what is fundamentally sacred.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Neutral

Gambling policy in Arkansas should be approached carefully, weighing economic benefits such as jobs and revenue against potential social impacts. Adults should have personal choice, and any gambling activity should be thoughtfully regulated to protect individuals and communities.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a pro-life, Christian, Conservative Republican who believes in faith, family, freedom, and personal responsibility. I believe every human life is sacred, that strong families are the foundation of a healthy society, and that government should be limited, accountable, and close to the people it serves. I support the Constitution, the Second Amendment, free enterprise, and parental rights, while standing firm for religious liberty and traditional values. My goal is to protect individual freedoms, strengthen our communities, and preserve the principles that make Arkansas and America strong.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly oppose allowing people to vote without photo identification. Secure elections require basic safeguards, and voter ID helps protect election integrity, prevent fraud, and ensure confidence in our democratic process.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly oppose providing reparations based on race. Government policies should treat individuals equally under the law, not assign benefits or penalties based on race or ancestry. Addressing inequality should focus on opportunity and need—not racial classification.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I strongly support protecting women’s sports and spaces. Biological males should not be allowed to compete in women’s athletics or occupy women’s private spaces, including bathrooms, locker rooms, shelters, dormitories, or prisons. Fairness, safety, and privacy for women and girls must be preserved.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

I believe environmental stewardship matters, but claims of man-made climate change being an urgent global crisis are often used to justify costly government overreach. Innovation, market-driven solutions, and responsible conservation—not sweeping mandates—are the best ways to protect our environment while preserving economic freedom and energy independence.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Reliable energy sources for the growing electricity demand are natural gas and nuclear power. Both provide consistent, 24/7 baseload electricity. Renewables can supplement the grid, but their intermittent nature means they cannot yet meet the demand.
