QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Abortion is as clearly to be stated as it is Murder.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Although no reason is a good reason for an Abortion, Medical need for the life of the mother should be classified seperate from Abortion.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
A life is a life regardless of the way it became a life.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
Currently after the abolishment from Row v Wade we opened the doors for other states to send the abortion-inducing drugs, although illegally, unforceable. We need to make this more direct and punish transportation of these drugs.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
“Separation of church and state” comes from Thomas Jefferson’s 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptists, meaning the government cannot control or establish the church. It was never intended to remove biblical values from law. I believe government should not interfere with the church, but moral law is rooted in God’s truth (Romans 13), not hostility toward faith. Plainly, the State should be excluded from the church, but the church should not be excluded from governance.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Individuals and businesses should not be compelled by the government to act against their moral or religious convictions. Religious liberty includes the right to live out one’s faith in public life, not just in private. Forcing compliance violates the First Amendment and undermines conscience, which Scripture teaches must be held in obedience to God rather than man (Acts 5:29).
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Agree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious threats to the United States through military expansion, cyber warfare, intellectual property theft, and economic coercion. This is not an issue with the Chinese people, but with an authoritarian regime that undermines sovereignty, fair trade, and global stability. America must respond with strength, clarity, and resolve.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. The United States’ relationship with Israel is important for strategic, moral, and economic reasons. Israel is a key democratic ally in a volatile region, a partner in intelligence and defense, and a shared commitment to religious freedom and the rule of law. Supporting Israel strengthens U.S. security interests and promotes regional stability. However, our foreign aid must be limited, targeted, and accountable. Supporting allies like Israel should come with clear objectives & transparency.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
I most closely align with C. Medicare, Medicaid, and the VA should remain to serve seniors, the vulnerable, and veterans. However, private healthcare insurance must be more transparent. Hidden fees, complex billing, and inflated administrative costs frustrate patients and drive prices up. Real reform means accountability, price transparency, and competition that puts patients—not insurers—first.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Neutral
I am neutral. Aggregate, non-identifiable health data can help policymakers understand costs and plan responsibly, but government should not maintain databases that track individuals by name or condition. Any data collection must protect privacy, limit scope, and prevent misuse. Healthcare decisions belong to patients and doctors—not permanent government surveillance.
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Raising the minimum wage alone increases cost of living. Any wage discussion must also address corporate incentives shaped by rulings like Dodge v. Ford, so workers and shareholders can both be fairly compensated without inflationary pressure.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential to a productive economy. When people are free to own property and participate in the market, they have both the incentive and responsibility to create value for others.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
My top priorities to eliminate government waste are enforcing outcome-based audits, adding sunset clauses to new spending, reducing administrative bloat, increasing transparency in contracts and grants, and prioritizing local control over centralized programs so tax dollars reach people, not bureaucracy.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
Sanctuary cities undermine the rule of law and place unnecessary burdens on local communities. Immigration enforcement is a federal responsibility, and policies that shield individuals from lawful processes create safety, cost, and accountability issues. Compassion must be paired with legality, fairness, and respect for those who follow the law.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Agree
Education works best when decisions are made closest to students, parents, and teachers. Eliminating the U.S. Department of Education would return control to states and local communities, reduce federal bureaucracy, and allow education to reflect local needs and values. This would also allow states like Arkansas to expand school choice in a more flexible, accountable, and locally driven way.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Agree
Foreign governments should not be allowed to fund or influence American education. However, individual students paying tuition from other countries should still be welcome and their country can still help with tuitions. This protects U.S. schools from major foreign influence while allowing education to remain open, competitive, and beneficial through lawful, transparent tuition-based enrollment.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The goal of the criminal justice system should be to protect the public, uphold the rule of law, and deliver justice fairly. This includes holding offenders accountable, deterring crime, restoring victims where possible, and offering rehabilitation when appropriate—without sacrificing public safety or personal responsibility.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
The government has a duty to protect children from sexual exploitation, especially online. This includes enforcing laws, holding offenders accountable, and supporting law enforcement, while respecting constitutional rights and parental authority.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
The United States legal system must be based on the Constitution alone. As John Adams stated, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.” Religious freedom is protected, but no foreign legal system should be incorporated into U.S. law. The rule of law must remain uniform, constitutional, and rooted in our founding principles.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Law-abiding citizens should not be punished for the actions of criminals. Public safety is best protected by enforcing existing laws, prosecuting violent offenders, and addressing mental health—not by restricting constitutional rights. The Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms, and restrictions should focus on criminal misuse, not responsible ownership. An armed populace is often a safer populace.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I am conservative in my views, grounded in biblical values, constitutional principles, and limited government. I believe in personal responsibility, strong families, free enterprise, local control, and protecting individual liberties while ensuring accountability and stewardship of public resources.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No. I have never been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No. I have never been convicted of a felony.
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Parents are the primary caregivers and decision-makers for their children. Government exists to support families, not replace them. Health and education decisions should remain with parents, with transparency and respect for family values.
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Children deserve protection, not experimentation. Attempts to physically or socially transition a child cause long-term harm and violate a child’s right to develop without irreversible pressure. Care should focus on safeguarding mental and physical well-being.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained institution between one man and one woman. While government may regulate civil unions, it does not have the authority to redefine what God established as sacred and foundational to family and society.
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Neutral
While gambling can generate revenue, it also brings social costs that must be carefully weighed. Any discussion should prioritize community impact, addiction risks, and local consent over short-term financial gains.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My faith begins and centers on Jesus Christ. I believe the Bible is true in its entirety and is the authoritative Word of God, guiding truth, morality, and human dignity. I am a regular attendee of my local Baptist church, where my faith is strengthened through worship, teaching, and community. As a husband, father, and veteran, I believe leadership starts with obedience to Christ, humility, and service to others. While government should not establish a church, moral truth does not vanish in public life. My faith shapes my conscience, my stewardship, and my commitment to lead with integrity and accountability. Finally, I love Jesus and he saved my life.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I believe that if you are going to vote, you must have a government photo identification to ensure that we have voter integrity.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
This is just a silly concept to give more to people who do not want to earn it. This is also a racist policy if we were to take it up.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
I believe this is simple common sense.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Disagree
Climate change exists, but its impacts and causes are often overstated to justify aggressive policy. I believe environmental stewardship should be practical, data-driven, and balanced against economic and energy realities rather than driven by alarmism.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear power is the most reliable and clean large-scale energy source available today, followed by hydroelectric power for long-term stability.
