QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Life begins at conception. This is a big one for me as a person and as a candidate. Being pro-life means defending it at ZERO weeks- not 6, 12 or 14 weeks as is often discussed by officials.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Never.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Disagree
Not one penny.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Strongly Agree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Never. Businesses are free to refuse service, and consumers are free to shop elsewhere.
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means wrongfully abandoning the very core principles that our nation was founded upon and thrived on. It means the eventual societal and moral downfall of a nation that cannot stand without Christ. The concept of separation is not Constitutional, as it is touted, nor is it healthy. The 'separation of church and state' has wrongfully become mainstream thought in our nation. Freedom of religion does not mean freedom from religion. We do not have an atheist Constitution.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
Option C. This is a dynamic topic; I want America to stay out of foreign conflicts when our interests are not at stake. Allies, treaties, modern enemy weaponry technology, terrorism, proxy enemies, etc., all make military operations necessary at times. Peace through strength - strength that is restrained but unstoppable by our enemies when necessary.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
100%, and they would love the downfall of the United States. They are actively and subversively working against us day and night.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes, Israel is God's chosen people and also our greatest ally in the Middle East.
Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.
Strongly Agree
Correct; I have counter-terrorism experience and can easily vouch for this statement. Also, I would support current legislation banning Sharia law in the United States.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
In an ideal world, option D, however, the current number of Americans who rely on Medicaid and Medicare is significant, and the rug cannot be pulled out from under them. Policy should move toward option D over time, but option C is where I would begin with current conditions. Furthermore, option C is far superior to options A and B, which I will not support.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
Never - socialist medicine can stay in socialist countries.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
The government needs to stay out of the way and trust free enterprise.
People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.
Strongly Disagree
Taxes are too high for ALL Americans. Taxpayer handouts are not the answer.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
We must and without delay. Our nation cannot handle the skyrocketing debt that we're incurring.
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
1. Climate Agenda & Green New Scam wasteful projects. 2. SNAP & Welfare abuse. 3. Medicaid & Medicare for foreign nationals in the country, legally and illegally. 4. Federal Department of Education should close as promised. 5. Cancelling remaining liberal foreign funding for programs such as the National Endowment for Democracy.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
The INA of 1952 is a set of laws that I know well. It outlines an America First immigration policy that promotes pro-America immigrants who are medically cleared, not terrorists, not criminals, will not land on our welfare rolls, and who have good moral character.
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
Sanctuary cities are unlawful and cannot stand. It is the federal government's responsibility to hold these jurisdictions accountable.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
Absolutely. Cut the red tape and let the states handle education as they see fit.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
This includes our colleges and universities that take millions of dollars from foreign donors.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Without doubt. Unchecked, the internet is shaping our children right under parents' noses in their own homes. Parents have a responsibility to monitor and regulate their children's activity online. Commonsense government safeguards for minors would be helpful as well.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
NONE.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Nebraska's 3rd Congressional District is one of the most conservative Districts in the U.S. House by population. I reflect that and will truly represent that.
VALUES
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Child gender surgeries are horrific and unconscionable.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
I couldn't have said it better.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christ is King. I am a born-again Christian who is imperfect. Christ died for my sins, and He lives in my heart. The spiritual human heart is the weak link in government. We need more folks who are grounded in Christ making decisions that impact our families and future.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Voting is a sacred responsibility that was paid for with the sacrifice of American soldiers over the centuries. It must be protected from fraud and abuse through commonsense use of a photo ID.
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
It is a sad day in America that we have to combat this nonsense in policymaking. I will not tolerate it for one second.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Our God-given fossil fuels that are cost-effective and reliable. We have an abundance and must use them. Certainly not industrial wind or solar. Small nuclear reactors, such as the ones currently on our Navy ships, should be considered in time.
