RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Biased question. I believe Life is Precious - my first child was still born at 8.5 months. I also believe the Life of a woman is Precious. Restricting the Reproductive Rights of women is wrong. Low-income women and unmarried women need an organization to help them. Planned Parenthood does more than council for abortions.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Biased question. Having an elective abortion is one of the most difficult decision a woman and her family can make. I have met families who are very religious who had to make the decision to terminate a pregnancy because the baby was not developing normally after a doctor visit. A family took the doctor's advice and evidence, aborted the baby because if born would require 24-hour care. They had a normal baby the next year. Rape and Incest.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Biased Question. The Texas 6-week Heartbeat law passed in Idaho came from Texas. The embryo of a 6-weeks is the size of a fingernail. It seems the loudest voices to ban abortion are the families that are infertile, 11% of men and 9 % of women. 25% of married women are infertile after giving childbirth. Many women in the workforce have delayed pregnancy until after 30 years old where they only have a 10% chance of pregnancy. Many want a blond-haired blue-eyed baby instead of a baby of color.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

I have been to China on a 21-day tour and was amazed how competitive they are between themselves. They teach their children starting at 6 years old to learn English and Mandarin. 75% of the Technical Manuals in the World are written in English. They, like the United States, Spy on us. China wants to replace the USA as the most dominant country in the world. Trump has declared war on education.

It was. The Genocide in Gaza is wrong. The War in Iran is wrong. Israel suckered President Trump into War with Iran.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. The United States is only country in the industrialized world that permits a family to go broke for getting sick. I have been to 30 countries on vacation, China, Russia, Australia, Japan, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Canada, Panama, and others that have Healthcare for all that is affordable and not private.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
$7.25 is Not a livable wage. I traveled to Australia and learned of the "graduated Minimum Wage" that increased from $8 at age 16 to $22 at age 21. President Reagan proposed a graduated minimum wage but Congress turned him down.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

It is a shame that some States have to protect people who want to work undocumented, because Congress has refused to give these people a path to citizenship. The last time was President Reagan in 2006. President Biden had a bipartisan bill to reform Immigration. Trump's regime told the Republican Congress to not do the reform in 2023 because doing so would help him get elected.

The United States has 400 million guns; we also have 35,000-gun related deaths with half suicide and 1,000's of children who die from guns. We can learn from Switzerland that has more guns per Capita than the United States and not a mass shooting since 2002. Before the NRA became a political organization in 1980 using Fear to sell guns, I and millions of Americans did not have a hand firearm.

I was baptized in the Catholic Church at 3 months, baptized in the Mormon Church at 8 years old, attended Methodist Church Sunday School, in the Air Force 1963 - 1966 one of my roommates was Jewish and the other Babtist, I joined the Lutheran Church, and I was hired by Aid Association of Lutherans in 1999 and provided financial planning for 1,000 Lutheran families until 2013 when I retired. I visited churches 3 days a week and attended interfaith conventions. Christian Nationalism is neither Christian nor Patriotic.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

I volunteered with 135 other people that registered over 1,000 eligible voters. County Clerks verify they are eligible to vote. The voter ID laws are voter suppression. The voter registration document state if you vote illegally, it is a $50,000 fine. I know of no one who would vote for a politician risking at $50,000 fine and jail time. Do you? 20% of Idaho Voters are unregistered to vote. They have been persuaded by Right Wing Nut media their vote does not count especially the 18 to 30's.
