QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Elective abortion should only be allowed when necessary to save the life of the mother.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Agree
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Agree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
“Separation of church and state” means that the government can not interfere with/control religious institutions. In its original sense, the idea was meant to protect churches from government influence, ensuring that people could practice their faith freely without interference. This principle supports religious liberty by preventing the government from dictating beliefs or becoming involved in religious matters. At its core, it keeps government out of churches so individuals can worship freely.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Maintaining strong relationships with key allies is important for national security and global stability.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Medicare and Medicaid should be reserved for those who truly need them—Americans with no other way to provide for their healthcare. These programs must remain a safety net, not a system for everyone. Government involvement in healthcare should be as limited as possible, allowing patients and doctors to make decisions—not bureaucrats. A more patient-centered system will expand choice, improve care, and reduce costs for families.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Minimum wage should be set by a free market, where supply and demand determine pay. Letting employers and workers negotiate without wage floors can boost flexibility, support business growth, and create more entry-level job opportunities.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
I believe the first step is always to review spending and ensure resources are being used efficiently. Idaho has built strong reserve funds for a reason, and those can be used carefully to help manage short-term challenges. At the same time, we should be cautious about creating long-term imbalances. A balanced approach that includes responsible spending, prudent use of reserves, and a focus on economic growth is the best way forward.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Agree
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and returning control to states and local communities. Education works best closest to the students, where parents, teachers, and local leaders understand their needs. State control allows for flexibility, innovation, and accountability without one-size-fits-all federal mandates. By reducing federal overreach, we can improve outcomes, empower families, and ensure schools reflect the values of their communities.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
Foreign governments should have zero role in funding American education—100% prohibited. Our classrooms are not for sale, and our students should never be subject to outside influence. Keeping education funding domestic protects transparency, strengthens accountability, and ensures decisions are made by Americans, for Americans.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The criminal justice system exists for one reason: to protect law-abiding Americans. That means enforcing the law, supporting victims, and making sure those who commit crimes are held accountable.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Agree
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation in online spaces. As technology evolves, so do the threats facing our kids. We must ensure strong laws are enforced and predators are brought to justice. Protecting children isn’t optional—it’s a fundamental duty, and we must act with urgency to safeguard the next generation.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Americans’ Second Amendment rights should be protected at all costs. The right to keep and bear arms is fundamental to our freedom and our ability to defend ourselves and our families. Americans should not be burdened by excessive government restrictions. We must focus on enforcing existing laws and holding criminals accountable, not limiting the constitutional rights of responsible Americans.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I want voters to know that I take this responsibility seriously. I am not running for a title, I am running to serve. I care deeply about this district, and if elected I will work hard, listen carefully, and do my best to represent the people of District 28 with honesty, consistency, and respect for Idaho values.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
NO
VALUES
Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.
Strongly Agree
Parents—not the government—have the fundamental right and responsibility to direct their child’s health and education. It’s time to put families back in charge and push back against bureaucratic overreach. I will always fight for policies that empower parents, expand choice, and protect our children. Strong families are the foundation of strong communities, and respecting parental rights is essential to securing a better future for the next generation
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
I support the expansion of gambling in my state.
Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Baptist, a family man, and a proud grandfather. My faith guides my values—integrity, personal responsibility, and service to others. I believe in strong families, the importance of community, and treating people with respect. I’ve been actively involved in my community, and I strive to live out those values every day in both my personal life and public service.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We must protect the integrity of our elections. Requiring voter ID is a common-sense measure to ensure every vote is legal and every voice is legitimate. Confidence in our elections is essential to our republic, and that starts with secure, transparent processes. Voter ID helps prevent fraud, builds trust, and ensures our elections remain fair for every American.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.
Strongly Agree
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Reliable energy must provide consistent, around-the-clock power. Natural gas and nuclear energy offer the stability needed to meet growing demand.
