Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

To address this new threat to the unborn, I wrote HB1678. It would change the penalty for shipping chemical abortion pills into Arkansas from a misdemeanor to a felony. Currently, cockfighting is a felony in Arkansas, but poisoning a baby is only a misdemeanor offense. It also expanded the ability of citizens to bring lawsuits against the providers of abortion pills. I also supported all other pro-life legislation
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The Government should not establish a “State” church or denomination.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

I co-sponsored HB1615/Act677, which now protects the religious liberty of business owners, e.g., wedding bakeries and photographers, from being forced to participate in ceremonies that violate their beliefs.

Because of our shared Biblical history, the people of Israel are very dear to my heart. I pray for peace for them and look forward to the day when the two houses of Israel and Judah are restored, and our Messiah is sitting on the throne.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
Taxpayer-funded health care should be abolished because there is no delegated constitutional authority to be involved in it. I have voted many times against expansions of Medicaid; it is nothing but a socialized medicine (Welfare) program. At best, it should be reserved for people who are completely helpless. Instead, we have tens of thousands of able-bodied nonworking people getting free medical care from taxpayers. Medicare is a federal program controlled by the U.S. Congress.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Wages should be based upon an agreement between the employer and the employee. The free market does not need government involvement..

The government’s main job is to protect the life, liberty, and property of its citizens. Other than those things, it should only do things we as individuals cannot do for ourselves. For example, administration of justice, building and maintaining roads and bridges. With few exceptions, most things the government does should be defunded. In the past, I have voted to defund PBS, DHS, State Board of Election commissioner and the Game and Fish Commission, to name a few.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

This is one of my new laws. HB1512/Act624 requires state and local governments to E-verify that new employees are not illegal aliens. Other bills I introduced: HB1655: Establishes offenses for human smuggling and harboring illegal aliens. HB1909: The “Public Services Only for Citizens Act” to block illegal aliens from accessing Arkansas welfare benefits. HB1569: The “Secure Roads and Safe Trucking Act” was to prevent illegal aliens from driving in Arkansas with a CDL issued in California.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None. Our state and federal constitutions prohibit any form of infringement. All gun laws constitute infringements. My Anti-ATF Commandeering Act (HB1481/SB399) simply states that Arkansas has chosen not to assist the ATF in enforcing their unconstitutional federal gun laws. My 2nd Amendment Financial Privacy Act, HB1620, prohibits financial institutions from tracking gun and ammo purchases.
