The U.S. Constitution is a living document that should be re-interpreted rather than adhering to the original intent.

Strongly Disagree

Our state Constitution permits the display of the Ten Commandments in courtrooms.

Strongly Agree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Mortals are inherently flawed;only God is flawless. Our Founders understood the corrupting influence of power over mortals, and its broad pervasiveness. Some men and women are inclined to ambition and to seek and grow their power through elected office, which of course works to the detriment of the governed. Knowing this, our Founders wisely instituted checks and balances,as well as separation of powers, as bulwarks of our constitutional republic.

The more people live by Judeo-Christian values, the less government is needed.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My wife and 2 children are Christian and all went to Catholic grade, high school and colleges. We attend Church services regularly. My spiritual views are concisely contained in the Apostles Creed; I believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and the Resurrection and life everlasting. I firmly believe in Life and cherish and respect our nations history as being founded on Judeo-Christian values. God is the source of morality and, thus, law and Justice. Finally ,I extol the right to life and the wholesome family unit as essential for a healthy society.
